The location was quite good close to the older part of Townsville. Our view from apartment 64 was really quite nice. The overal facilities were good and the apartment was sensibly laid out. Beautiful bathroom, loved the sliding doors in the lounge and bedroom. Really special to open them up in the morning before the day heated up. The air-conditioners worked well and were appreciated. Kitchen was excellent, nice big fridge for staying 10 nights. Price was fair for what we got.

With being allocated a dirty room, we rang reception.. the service was exceptional, a staff member was contacted, a new room was allocated. Shame about the dirty room but that happens...the resolution was organised in an efficient and timely manner..so well done to the staff involved. Thank you so so much, We loved it stayed in room 76A, big thank you to the girl when we arrived she was so helpful, We will be back for sure... The apartment was simple but very suitable to our needs. The location was handy to most areas we needed to be. We extended out stay twice for an extra night, the staff were happy to help and were pleasant to deal with. I will be staying there again. As an overall experience it suited our needs. Great location. Very clean and well equipped. Extremely comfortable and very well priced. We loved staying there and if you can keep your prices so reasonable will certainly be back. Relish Cafe is a huge asset to the location. When I booked I advised my wife had mobility problems.The resort arranged car parking and apartment allocation in close vicinity to elevators -- making it easy.Apartment was comfortable and adequate for our needs. We enjoyed our stay in this clean, quiet, relaxing apt. With a beautful view. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. If we had more time we would have stayed longer. It was more than we had expected. We both like the comfort and the kitchen for us to cook in. also austar is a great bonus The bed was very comfy and the use of washing machine and dryer was great as we had been travelling by car from adelaide. I would highly recommend to anyone. Comfortable & well appointed (washing machine, tumble drier, dish washer), good size rooms and cable TV. It's close to the CBD and has ample parking, including reserved underground space. - rooms were a great size - kitchen good size - location / close to other attractions - price was great especially given the number of sporting event on at the time, show, school hols etc. I liked the fact that because I was travelling alone with my children, I felt safe, the apartment was very clean and will definitly stay again, next time with my husband. The room was spacious and had all the facilities I require for a weekend stay while on business. Your broadband was excellent and allowed me to do my work efficiently. The unit was very well appointed, it had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and even a full laundry - a bit of a waste for just the one night really!. Great room with view. Neat and tidy and modern. Great amenities, pool was good and also barbeque area. Reasonable pricing too. Everything we need for kitchen area. The location was good not too far from the Restaurants and shops, only a quick Taxi ride. Rooms were a great size and had everything you needed at a good price. Bbq area was fantastic! Had great catchups with friends there. Easy access to town. Beautiful rooms. Cafe downstairs was great too. To us it was most modern and comfortable. The unit had all the conveniences anyone could want for a most enjoyable weeks stay. We were kindly upgraded into lovely two bedroom. Excellent value for money and very helpful staff. The room was very nice and the view was amazing. The couch was terrible it was a major let down for our stay. I was working during the day and to come home to this couch was not good. The cutlery was a bit short only one knife and a couple of steak knives and the set was cheap and nasty. Had to buy a can opener which we left for the next guests. No mop to clean up spills. The fly screen in the lounge needs attention as does the sliding door to the bedroom cupboard. When we arrived the room we were allocated had not been cleaned, it looked and smelt disgusting. Couch was old and worn out...really uncomfortable. Big fat ZERO... thank you. . On check-in the staff member was not what I would call pleasant. I was a little worried about staying there after my first impression. Luckily on other dealings with staff they made up for that one incident. The apartments are not serviced until after one week. I asked for an earlier service which they were more than happy with. However the service was only half done. The bed was made and fresh towels but that's where it ended. The rubbish was not taken, toilet paper not restocked etc. Nothing to dislike. Can't think of a thing we didn't like. Shower screen wasn't cleaned before our use also fridge wasnt wiped over inside. But With only two nights stay I guess maybe the apartment only gets cleaned once a week. There was construction work on both sides. Mismatched crockery, cutlery and glassware, not all of which was properly cleaned. The ironing board was unserviceable. - booked externally for 2 adults + 2 kids but booking was taken as 4 adults so kids (boy and girl) had to share double bed which meant one of them slept on the couch (great couch was a good size) - weren't given door stops for adjoining rooms when checking in but friends that stayed were given door stops (we had to use our shoes due to kids also staying). Trains. Nothing. I don't have any negatives all good. Nothing really. It was a little hard to find but that's to be expected being a new development which wasn't on the GPS yet. 1.Gym was closed (reason why we booked) 2.No face washers in either bathroom 3.Some lights were not working. 4.Seating in lounge area very uncomfortable 5. No ice in freezer 6.TRAINS were very loud!!! 7.No dining/cafe's,convenience stores nearby. The Couch in the room was very unpractical, not comfortable at all to sit on and relax to watch a movie. Nothing .... had great weekend. Train movements through the night can be a bit off-Puting. Beds very soft. The location was right next to the main train line and the noise from the trains shunting was a bit annoying. The microwave was situated down low, this made it annoying to get things in and out without feeling awkward and a little over cautious... Also the bathroom is slippery when damp, so definate caution with children. Nothing. The kitchen chairs sound on the tiles and could hear the unit above move chairs also. Difficult to locate initially, poor signage and the address given was slightly different to the real address. Couldn't reach 2nd bedroom windows to close blinds or window. Nothing else though everything was fantastic. Nothing. The parking lay out it got rather confusing with the numbers. The sofa and lounge chair although modern was very uncomfortable to sit in, found myself sitting at the table instead. The place was difficult to find (GPS and even local inhabitants didn't know it). Furthermore, you may need a car to stay there as the hotel is quite fare from the heart of the city (it would take around 45 minutes walk to get to the beach...). However it takes around 10 minutes drive. Difficult to locate reception. Hard to find as google maps had wrong location. Fire stairwell needed a key to get out of and therefore you could only get out at your level. You could not get out at the pool level. The apartment didnt appear to be cleaned very well, it didn't feel 'fresh'. I feel First impressions are also important, the bed was ruffled as if it had been laid on when we first arrived. The spa was ice cold. Bedside lamps not working Remote not working Kitchen cabinets really hard to open with silly push system. I would like more provisions such as the essentials provided. e.g. the dishwasher powder, soaps, dishcloths, bin liners and sugars, coffees and teas please. Dusty balcony and noise of excavation. on arrival we were giving the keys to someone elses room. we had to walk into someone elses room and then go back downstairs with all our stuff and baby and then back up once the right key was given. the floors in the hotel made our feet black and my babys hands and feet black and also her clothes. The bed were the most uncomfortable and extremely hard ever experienced. The couch was no better. Bit hard to find and plates glasses and cutlery provided looked old and well used.
