beautiful clean rooms in a lovely part of town just a few blocks from the river.. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot, varied, and plentiful. The 11th floor lounge has a terrific view of the city. -

The staff was very friendly and welcoming despite our late evening arival. The room was very clean and the furnishing gave were excellent. The bathroom was clean and modern. We felt very comfortable there with our two small children. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again! -

The rooms are very spacious beautifully appointed and fully equipped with refrigerator, safe, toiletries, yummy robes, hairdryer, iron and board complimentary water and so much more. The linens are expensive and everything in the room is new and very clean. Located a short walk from train station, mega mall, waterfire and downtown. -

was walking into my inviting and ornate home of my dreams. Fresh flowers

Darlene was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and offered some great ideas for what to do, where to shop, where to eat, and where the locals go for fun. The Lodge offered discounted tickets to the Mansions and passes to the art museum. The breakfasts were fantastic, and it was nice to chat with the other guests during breakfast to hear what they were doing during their stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Ivy Lodge.

Well, if you have to point the exact center and downtown of Providence,

Service was excellent, friendly and attentive front desk and concierge--available at all hours. The front desk upgraded me to a larger room with morning sun. The bed was very comfortable, firm with a mountain of soft pillows.
Good, fast (and complimentary) wireless.
Fitness room was empty at 5:30 a.m. easily accessible and with towels and bottled water.

This place was located in a perfect spot! Two blocks from the center of town. The building had such character and the rooms a beautiful mix of the old with the new. The staff was so helpful and friendly ( especially Jo!)! Awesome view from the top deck of the water. Lots of nice little touches....soft robes, fluffy pillows, good-nite note w/ gummy bears instead of chocolates :-)! Would definitely stay here again!
