We have been travelling all over the world with a family of four (adults plus daughters of 17 and 19) and Christopher Dodge has definitely been one of the best places to stay. Really helpful, pleasant and professional staff, nice clean premises, excellent breakfast and most of all a cosy, homely feeling. Since the location was great as well with walkig distance to the centre of Providence this all made for a great stay. Thank you, all at Christopher Dodge!

Richard send us an email before we realized he had left it. He send it
to New York where we were. We had a very good time and we appreciatte

The hostess, Kim was very friendly and accommodating. The place was just a few minutes walk to the heart of town and the cliff walk. It wasn't fancy but it was clean and comfortable. -

were so pleased with the Inn Keeper Cindy. She went above and beyond to
make sure we felt welcome, and we were comfortable. Her breakfast was

The property was well maintained and the room was beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. For early risers or late night arrivals there was either a continental breakfast or fresh cookies and beverages.
The full breakfast at 9am was a pleasant experience that started our day of exploring with a full belly. The room was very romantic and spacious. I will stay here again and their off season rates are very reasonable while still including the amenities.

Our hostess was very informative about Newport's history and it's surrounding area . She made us very welcome . She explained that the hot entree at breakfast was just one choice which changed daily but was happy to make us something else if we didn't like it .

This Inn was a jewel in our east coast journey. It was also the most
expensive night for us, but in Newport, you have to expect a higher
price. We were happy that we could park the car in their lot, and walked
where we wanted to until we checked out the next day. We did the Cliff
walk early in the morning, the best time in the heat of the summer. This
Inn is truly a treasure!

Rose Inn was walking distance to all of the shopping and restaurants in Newtown. They have off street parking so we saved having to pay for parking on the strip. The breakfasts in the morning were wonderful and I looked forward to it each morning. The owners were so kind and had many recommendations for us. Our towels were replenished daily and our sheets turned down nightly, it was lovely.

of relaxion. We were on our short Honeymoon, myself and my husband. We
checked in and it was already very friendly. The hostess, greeted us
with a hand shake and her name. For some reason, we were upgraded to

Everything about our stay was wonderful! My husband and I spent five nights at the Marshal Slocum Inn and were impressed with the attention to detail -- from the elegantly appointed breakfast to the lovely rooms to the cotton bathrobes. Mark is a wonderful host who has created a relaxing homey atmosphere in a historic area of Rhode Island. The location of the Inn is perfect for seeing all of the sites.
