  Our hostess was very informative about Newport's history and it's surrounding area . She made us very welcome . She explained that the hot entree at breakfast was just one choice which changed daily but was happy to make us something else if we didn't like it . We needn't have worried . Both days breakfast were delicious . As was the cold buffet ... wat mensen zeggen » both days, including fresh baked goods and home made granola. All delicious ! When we checked out I told her I suspected it would be the best breakfa - This Inn was a jewel in our east coast journey. It was also the most expensive night for us, but in Newport, you have to expect a higher price. We were happy that we could park the car in their lot, and walked where we wanted to until we checked out the next day. We did the Cliff walk early in the morning, the best time in the heat of the summer. This Inn is truly a treasure!

  It was perfect for our family get together. We had a floor for our family to share. 3 rooms with private baths, and a private gathering room with fireplace and couches and table for playing cards. It was perfect. The food was awesome, and presentation was perfect. The gardens were beautiful. - The best breakfast in America!!! Excellent welcom... wat mensen zeggen » e from Marie, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Décor was interesting and welcoming (very- Halloween themed). Close to coast / town beach and good selection of restaurants.
