  The friendliness and accomodating staff, the complimentary nacho night, the kids loved it! And the complimentary breakfast. I had my four young granddaughters with me and if saved me alot of money not to have to take them into restaurants and waste food. And the pool/gym side by side! - The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Portsmouth. You can walk to most downtown restaurants and shopping. It is new and very clean. i stayed in a suite and was very surprised to find it has a kitchen complete with full refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop. It was perfect for hosting a group of friends for cocktails and appetizers.

The king bed was so comfortable and room was very nice. - Location is ideal. Walkable to everything. Our (club) room was large, clean, & very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

  There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about The Anchorage Inn and Suites.From comfortable and impeccably clean rooms to the beautiful indoor pool and sauna to the amazing , friendly staff and the free continental breakfast ,I couldn't have been more pleased. Great decor and very clean.
