  The friendliness and accomodating staff, the complimentary nacho night, the kids loved it! And the complimentary breakfast. I had my four young granddaughters with me and if saved me alot of money not to have to take them into restaurants and waste food. And the pool/gym side by side! - The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Portsmouth. You can walk to most downtown restaurants and shopping. It is new and very clean. i stayed in a suite and was very surprised to find it has a kitchen complete with full refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop. It was perfect for hosting a group of friends for cocktails and appetizers.

  Great hotel in the middle of town. If you are looking to park your car for your stay and walk around a wonderful town, this is it. We had a great time.   This hotel was in walking distance to many shops and dining places. The hotel was very elegant and the staff was friendly. The king bed was so comfortable and room was very nice. - Location is ideal. Walkable to everything. Our (club) room was large, clean, & very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

  There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about The Anchorage Inn and Suites.From comfortable and impeccably clean rooms to the beautiful indoor pool and sauna to the amazing , friendly staff and the free continental breakfast ,I couldn't have been more pleased. Great decor and very clean.   The location with free parking is ideal for Portsmouth, NH. The room was a good size and had all the basics. The housekeeper I met in the elevator was polite and friendly.
