  The hotel was well appointed and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodated us when we requested an early check-in. I would stay there again and would recommend it to friends. - The decor was very impressive, the dining room stunning. The hotel is very classy, quiet and friendly. Excellent choice at breakfast.

  I stayed for a week and I can say this was a very pleasant stay here. The house is very nice and clean, the beds are comfortable, there are coffee and tea - making facilities in the room, the hosts are friendly people, ready to help if necessary. The bus stops for both ways are right next to the property and for me this was a big advantage. The br... cosa dice la gente » eakfast is excellent, the guests can choose from different options. Overall, for me it was the best choice to stay here, so that the next time I shall - Martin and Debbie were great hosts - loved the scones -that was a lovely surprise. Very comfortable bed, good shower and a very pleasant room. Breakfast was plentiful with a really good variety of food. Bus stop close by gave easy access to Durham. Very nice pizza outlet within easy walking distance. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend Moor End Guesthouse to anyone wishing to holiday in Durham. Thank you

  On two cold February days we had a wonderful stay at the Grafton House Hotel, the location overlooking the cathedral is wonderful and yet is on a quiet cobbled street. Our room was luxurious and spacious, with the steam room shower reviving us after a day's sightseeing. Fabulous food served in a contemporary dining room.
