  The room and facilities: Very large and spacious bedroom, which had a lovely view, tv and books for you to browse. This room came with use of a private bathroom across the hall, which was also large and quite luxurious- looking. It was a delight soaking in the tub! I guess we are just going to have to return! Breakfast: Delicious, varied and p - I travelled to Durham to visit the university with my daughter. Jim, our host was charming, informative and kind and made us feel very welcome. The location is quiet and pretty and our room with a separate bathroom was spacious and comfortable with a comfy bed, tv, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer as well as a library of books – it felt like a home from home. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay a pleasant one. The breakfast was fab, full English, good quality f

  I stayed for a week and I can say this was a very pleasant stay here. The house is very nice and clean, the beds are comfortable, there are coffee and tea - making facilities in the room, the hosts are friendly people, ready to help if necessary. The bus stops for both ways are right next to the property and for me this was a big advantage. The br... cosa dice la gente » eakfast is excellent, the guests can choose from different options. Overall, for me it was the best choice to stay here, so that the next time I shall - Martin and Debbie were great hosts - loved the scones -that was a lovely surprise. Very comfortable bed, good shower and a very pleasant room. Breakfast was plentiful with a really good variety of food. Bus stop close by gave easy access to Durham. Very nice pizza outlet within easy walking distance. All in all we had a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend Moor End Guesthouse to anyone wishing to holiday in Durham. Thank you
