  STaff were very friendly and gave valid advice about the town. the Dependenza was well situated in Levanto on the main street but opening onto the back so not noisy. accom was adequate, and acceptable, not luxury but then price was commensurate. the croissants at breakfast were of excellent quality. - The hotel is situated in a quite zone in Leva... cosa dice la gente » nto. The staff is really very nice and helpful. The train station in Levanto is about 5-10 minutes on foot from the hotel, and perfect to go to Cinque Terre.

  Hotel is in a fantastic location with easy access to the train to explore the area. There are many bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Very friendly owner gave us all a bottle of Limoncello as a parting gift....nice touch. Plenty of choice for breakfast, lovely coffee. Nice clean rooms. couldn't ask for more!

  We arrived at Castello Canevaro at 9 p.m. in the right day ... but just one year before! We made a mistake in the booking process and we were not expected! There was a weeding in the Castle. Despite the situation, we were received by a incredible diplomat and polite gentleman who solved the problem and found us a very nice room in the castle.
