  I can not fault this hostel - which as Russell below me put, it feels more like a hotel! I was in an 8bed dorm and there was so much space, the beds were mot right up against one another, and there was plenty of room to move. And the view! My goodness. The view was too die for! Beautiful ocean views. The owners were beyond exceptional! Although th... cosa dice la gente » ey speak minimal English, you can communicate with them easy enough. They were so accommodating! I was greeted by Pier at the train station and driven - We LOVED this little place. More of a hotel than a hostel, in my opinion, as I usually avoid hostels. We had a private double room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, and the view of the sea from the hill was amazing!! So much to explore on the "footpaths" around Framura. We did the hike from Framura to Bonassola, and it was breathtaking (a bit scary at times, but worth it!). Framura is SOOO much better than touristy Cinque Terre. As one local at Ristorante Silvia put it, "

  The shuttle bus is very convenient and cheap..and the staff is very patient to answer all my questions on email..besides, very clean the hostel...and cheap enough around cinque terre - After a day of driving, you just like the bed you stay in.

  For its price I was surprised about the building & the location. The building is new & clean with all the necessary facilities (plus vending machines). The location was really just walks away from the bay. We even got the bay view from our window. Such a perfect scenery in the morning & for the stay itself! Breakfast was good. I just w... cosa dice la gente » ant to point out, the stairs isn't really so bad. I took my huge gym bag because I've read that it's such a hassle if you bring your suitcase. But act - The sea-view from room 201 was amazing. It is probably the best view in the village- looking down on the pier and the restaurants and cafes.The breakfast was a nice treat, as most similarly priced accommodation did not include this. Good air-conditioning. The staff were friendly and checked us in early. We arrived via bus from La Spezia and the bus stop is just a few flights of steps from the hostel. We highly recommend this accommodation as it exceeded our expectations.
