  The town and shops were clean and very well presented. There were a lot of trees around which gave it a lovely atmosphere. The people were friendly and I felt quite safe there.   It was close to all amenities, all within walking distance. Wendy in the office was friendly and efficient. Good restaurant across the road. It was generally quiet and very comfortable - A wonderful place. Megs and particularly Wendy go out of their way to help you. The accommodation was beautifully maintained.

Close to Risby Cove restaurants and a comfortable walk into Strahan. Very relaxing, we would recommend it to those who like to indulge in Tasmanian hospitality. Plenty to do while in the area too.

Our immediate reaction when walking in was "pity we can only stay one night - it would be so nice to kick back here for a longer stay". The property is only a short walk into the centre of Strahan.

I don't use WiFi, I have plenty of data to check email etc from my phone, however due to the remoteness of the West Coast I had low signal at times, however this had nothing to do with staying at the Villas.   Ormiston House is a beautiful home which Carolyn and Mike have completely renovated, obviously with a great deal of love. The museum upstairs give details of the interesting history of the property and the home is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Our room was large and decorated perfectly with a four poster bed. Breakfast by the bay - Great location and great property. Full of history and old world charm. Wonderful hosts, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable. Had cuppa and freshly made muffins on arrival and each time we came back from an activity. Breakfasts were great. my husband fell in love with the local leather-wood honey.
