We enjoyed the spa and also found the attention to detail and service by the staff to be of a very high quality. We were pleased that the rate offered meant that we were able to visit a hotel we had long wanted to visit. - Staff very friendly without being overpowering, food excellent, spa facilities very good. Overall a very relaxing weekend

Halte trés agréable. La piscine est le truc en plus. Le servicerestauration est vraiment de qualité. Trés bon petit déjeuner! - location, facilities, cleanliness - Very friendly staff. Clean rooms and communal areas. Pool and Spa facilities excellant. Breakfast - yum!

Very relaxed calming. Some would say expensive, we say worth every penny. We are planning to return very soon. Service could not be faulted, staff were only to willing to help. the reception staff were very helpful, after confusion about the type of room booked , it was rectified with no problems - Every thing about the gotel was First Class, even though we did not use all the facilities available

Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout. There are shops and Farnborough centre nearby (walking distance away) which is handy. -

At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast. The reception staff were also helpful and found us dressing gowns without question, well done great service all round. Food was excellent as was the service everywhere. This

was very good as was the breakfast. The leisure facilities were very
good and well maintained, just a shame the Sauna was out of order. We
had a very pleasurable stay and would come back again.

The booking got messed up, booked a superious suite, got given a twin,changed to a exec double at a reduced rate, promised free wine thatdidn't arrive and got a massive discount because of all the problems butStaff were very good at resolving these problems with no fuss so stillmade it a very enjoyable stay - whilst being a large hotel it retained

Le calme - The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym

Très bonne qualité générale - I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu. Leisure facilities great - nice to have the opportunity to relax and unwind in the evening. Would definitely recommend this
