Staff very helpful and friendly - allowed us to park in staff car park, when the bay parking was full. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice (toaster needs turning up though to get slightly darker toast); eggs were poached to perfection.

It was just ideal for our stay, mum n I hadn't been Portsmouth in a very long time, we thought the hotel was great conveniently located in the fact that was close to the places we wanted to go.
The historic dockyards n the spinnaker was fabulous n magnificent and enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Hotel was lovely n spacious, friendly staff willing to help n made u feel very welcomed. Close to where we wanted to go close to the ammenties and parking was great didn't need to travel far in the car

My 2 nights at Manor Hotel were because of my fathers funeral, so I cannot really fill in other details, my room was comfortable, quiet and very clean, my daughter stayed for the second night and we were very comfortable. thank you, breakfast had good choices and the waitress was very friendly and cheery, (it was quite early) in the morning.

Comfortable room, albeit small. Shower not used as it was an overnight stop with an early departure. Bed comfortable, better than we had at a chain hotel that claims a "good night's sleep" Very good breakfast served a friendly lady.

We booked to stay at the New Inn over the August bank holiday weekend as it was ideally located to the Car Fest in Overton which we were visiting. Particularly the helpful staff. But really most things. I am used to 'no frills' being synonymous with 'poor service and facilities', but here the staff were charming and helpful, and the level of comfort well above the standard provided by many much more expensive hotels.

Staff very young but eager to please. Dogs are allowed by prior arrangement.

As a disabled, profoundly deaf visitor, I was greeted by Wendy the manager, who upon learning some of my difficulties attended my every needs, excellent service. The full English breakfast comes with cereals, toast and yogurt or fruit was available to help yourself should you want it. A kitchen available should you wish use do some self catering.

It is a nice place to stay for short term, as we spent only one night it is hard to rate, we only stayed long enough to use the bed and breakfast, the hotel is close (walking distance) to the town centre, and is located in a quiet part of the town.

For a basic place to stay, no frills it had everything I needed. Clean, comfortable bed, with added bonus of microwave and fridge, along with the usual TV and hot drinks facilities. They have a leaflet with local recommendations for restaurants which was a nice touch. The guy who greeted me on my first night was extremely good natured and helpful.

A suitably placed and easily accessible hotel which we have been using for 12 years. Allows us to visit the south coast Surrey, Hampshire. and London with ease. We have always found this inn good value for money, comfortable, clean and the staff very accommodating. However it allows us to visit family in the locality.

Good value for money, can't complain about price.
However it would have been good to know that there is no bathroom, but only a toilet, and that the shower is a cabin within the room. As we shared our room with my mother-in-law, it required a bit of turning the eye and covering up while getting ready to shower and after the shower.

receptionist (Vicki) was very friendly upon check-in. I was afraid it would be noisy as it fronted onto a busy road but didn't hear a thing all night. bed was comfortable. single room was smallish but adequate for my one night stay. next door to mcdonalds if don't want to pay for hotel breakfast and close to ikea, supermarkets and entertainment venues. close to train station and coach station (can walk it) and about a 6 pound taxi fare to the cruise terminals.

Staff excellent. V helpful. Just be careful of who you share a room with. Everyone ok except one nutter German oap who had a massive tantrum because she couldn't find a fork! However, that was one person and one night! -
