I really had a great time. It's quite a familiar place. They invited
me to a party the day I arrived to meet japanese people and had free
dinner and drink. The location is good, 5 min. Away from the peace
memorial and close enough to other sightseeing spots. The kitchen, the
rooms and everything was very clean and comfortable. Good english.

The stuff is really friendly, so you feel really welcomed in this hostel.
I booked a single room, which was very nice with tatami mats and a futon. the bad and the shower are shared, but the staff always clean up everything really well.
All the major sightseeing spots are near to the hostel.

The place was perfect for what we needed. Only a minute (or less) walk to a tram stop that would take you to both Hiroshima station and Miyajima station.
It was only a 5 minute walk to the peace park, and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping district.

Couldn't be more conveniently located for the sights but not noisy as it's in a quite area nearby.
Very sweet lady owner, who tries to help in every way she can. She knows just enough English but is happy to speak Japanese if you want to practice-just the right balance. She made a good recommendation for a restaurant/ bar 3 minutes walk away, which does Italian/ Japanese food.
An absolute bargain for the price-a very complete Japanese breakfast.

And I loved the ryokan. It's precisely what it's supposed to
be, and I personally prefer the comfort of such accommodation... It was

The location of Chizuru Ryokan couldn't be better for exploring the Peace Museum area. The owner was super friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. Conveniently located, no frills accommodation in Hiroshima.
I stayed one night with my dad in a (very) little tatami-floored room with futons and shared bathroom facilities. Room was clean and the futons comfortable. Breakfast is not included. Yukatas and towels are provided. Booked it as a budget option and as such it didn't disappoint, I would recommend it if that's what you're after.
Note that although it's called a ryokan, if you think you are getting the full-blown "ryokan experience" you

I enjoyed staying at K´s House, the staff has been extremely helpful pointing out local favourite Ramen and Okonomayki. Very comfortable to stay on a hot day and enjoyed lounging around watching DVDs. Wonderful coffee services and location near Station and Tramss, Highly recommended to all -

The hotel is located in great area,only 5-7 minutes walking to the peace
dome garden and about 3 stops on the streetcar from the center of
hiroshima. There were enough stores and restaurants in the area. The
hotel provides a kitchen with microwave,fridge,hot water and dishes. The
staff was kind and spoke enough english. Very cheap price. -

Wonderful staff! The Japanese breakfast was excellent! We would stay again. The only thing we didn't like was the smell of cigarette smoke from others who have stayed.
