  I really had a great time. It's quite a familiar place. They invited me to a party the day I arrived to meet japanese people and had free dinner and drink. The location is good, 5 min. Away from the peace memorial and close enough to other sightseeing spots. The kitchen, the rooms and everything was very clean and comfortable. Good english. I booked a single room, which was very nice with tatami mats and a futon. the bad and the shower are shared, but the staff always clean up everything really well. All the major sightseeing spots are near to the hostel.

  The place was perfect for what we needed. Only a minute (or less) walk to a tram stop that would take you to both Hiroshima station and Miyajima station. It was only a 5 minute walk to the peace park, and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping district. The owner was the sweetest lady I have ever met and she seemed genuinely excited to have us ther... what people say » e. She was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I was traveling with my sister and our room was a perfect size for us - we only had - Couldn't be more conveniently located for the sights but not noisy as it's in a quite area nearby. Very sweet lady owner, who tries to help in every way she can. She knows just enough English but is happy to speak Japanese if you want to practice-just the right balance. She made a good recommendation for a restaurant/ bar 3 minutes walk away, which does Italian/ Japanese food. An absolute bargain for the price-a very complete Japanese breakfast.   This ryokan is managed by some great Japanese people - you'll get a chance to see especially the elderly. They're sweet and helpful. And I loved the ryokan. It's precisely what it's supposed to be, and I personally prefer the comfort of such accommodation... It was really lovely :) - The friendly staff were great.

I stayed one night with my dad in a (very) little tatami-floored room with futons and shared bathroom facilities. Room was clean and the futons comfortable. Breakfast is not included. Yukatas and towels are provided. Booked it as a budget option and as such it didn't disappoint, I would recommend it if that's what you're after.   I enjoyed staying at K´s House, the staff has been extremely helpful pointing out local favourite Ramen and Okonomayki. Very comfortable to stay on a hot day and enjoyed lounging around watching DVDs. Wonderful coffee services and location near Station and Tramss, Highly recommended to all - very helpful English speaking staff.   Very close to the JR Hiroshima station, value for money. - The staff was wonderful and helped enormously. The breakfast is an incredible value and very tasty. The owner, when seeing that we were about to leave with only one umbrella between three of us into the rain, gave us one.
