Friendly staff, though communication might be a little bit of a problem if you don't speak Japanese (I speak basic Japanese). Located right beside Hotel Century 21, across the canal from JR Hakata. 1. Not all the staff at reception could speak English but those who couldn't still tried their very best to help.
2. Location was very central - 10 min walk to the central train station, 15 min walk to the shopping / food district and 30 min walk to the Peace Park.
3. Room was clean, functional and large enough to lay out 2 suitcases.
4. Breakfast buffet was tasty and there is a good Japanese bar/ seafood grill just across the canal from the hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, a lot of hotel facilities (free, pc, coin laundry, vending machines). Good position from Hiroshima station, only 10 minutes walks. A great surprise was the free breakfast buffet (japanese style) offred. -
more space than in other hotels of same price level. all facilities (microwave, washing machine, etc.)

Getting to know more about the tragedy of the bombing and the impact
that it had on Hiroshima, but it was a tough like with a lot of emotion
around. The Peace Park is a credit to the authorities. -
Very clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Easy walking to Peace Memorial
Park and other sites. We had excellent food at the local restaurants.

I had a 6 bed room all for my self. That could be because they were quiet at the time. Everything was nice and clean. The girl at the reception was very nice and helpful despite the language problem. The hotel was just opposite the JR station which is one stop from Heroshima main station. All shops and supermarket closeby. -

Staff were very helpful and friendly- they always smiled and spoke some English. The room was very clean and had everything you would need. The real + about the Rich Hotel though is the hostel like price and central location.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Although the room was small, it was clean and comfortable. A staff member who spoke English checked us in and made us feel welcomed. Tea and a sweet were provided in the room. We also enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. The location is great because it is about a 5-10 min walk from the train station.

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the railway station. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room.
Breakfast was adequate, though after 3 days the sameness was wearing a little thin. The owner did not speak English, but was very friendly and we were able to communicate our needs.

went out of their way to accomodate our needs even to lending us

Cheap and simple, exactly what I wanted. Rooms are small but perfect for the solo traveller or couple looking for a budget price, clean and comfortable hotel. Excellent location 5 minutes from the main station, also a few minutes walk from supermarket, shops and restaurants.
