We stayed in Beeches KLodge apartments - very nice, clean and spacious, however our booking was for the hotel and on arrival found theur details of the booking to be for later in the week - graduation week and everywhere was full - gave us a few moments of panic but they moved us to the apartments for the same price - no complaints. Staff were very friendly, and the room was absolutely fantastic being a good size with excellent furnishings. Bathroom was clean and had a good shower, which is often a rarity with many hotels. Very reasonable price, and excellent value for money. Also good location within the city and easy to find, free parking was also useful.kaikki arvostelut »
incredible price - great value for money. Clean, near centre - couldn't ask for more if you just want a base for the night. The location is very good, a very peacefull and well run hotel. I have stayed before and i like the room sizes / the beds are comfortable with lovely clean bedding and i like the ambience of the detatched old part as it isn't so formal as most places. Having to take the key back to reception every time you go out was a bit of a pain. People who talk noisily in corridors at 1am!. Suspect it is more than a 10 minute walk to Centre of Norwich. No towel rails in Bathroom. Door knob came off the room door.i needed to check out at 5:00 Am and the 24 hour reception desk was vacant for a long period of time and the door to reception was locked. Would have liked a smoking room but told only 2 available andboth taken.The mattress in room 34, well past its use by date.......... The water heater is not clean. Room a bit on the small side. TV was tiny with no remote control / In my room on this ocassion there was no in-house information at all i.e. where to eat / breakfast times etc. I would - despite the above - continue to stay at The Beeches whenever working in that area of Norwich. The only negative side was the noise of the road and of people coming in an out in the early morning slamming doors. The shower had a bit of limescale and was therefore not as powerful as it should of been. asked if i wanted a morning paper, didnt deliver when requested then tried to charge me for un delivered papers.....communication problem obviously !!!. A few of the showers/shower-heads need attention. (I have stayed in the hotel many times and seen a lot of the rooms). lack of additional amenities found in large hotels, such as a swimming pool. very small tv in a large room. Fire alarm at 9 30 on sunday am. No apology just "oh it was only the toaster!" after we had all got out!!!.
