This hotel was not just a hotel near an airport; it was a hotel
designed to make it easier to prepare one self to be ready to catch a
plane in the morning! It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, so we got a
good night's sleep before our flight. There was a free shuttle to
pick us up and take us to the hotel and a 3 euro fee to bring us back
the next morning to catch the flight. However, when the staff saw that
there were three of us with just "carry on luggage", he

My stay at meininger Hotel Frankfurt Main worked out flawlessly. For
the 39 euros, a clean, no frills stay was exactly what I wanted. I got
to the hotel using their free shuttle. As I have read other reviews
before, it can get full easily, but the driver handled it well: 2 of us
were instructed to get into another shuttle for another hotel that had
room, and it dropped us off near the hotel, and soon the other full
shuttle came behind with our bags. That is pretty good collaboration!

A very good hotel for travellers. I stayed one night between connection flights. The team is very well organized, there is a shuttle to the airport, but the distance is short and thus walkable. I liked the overall design, all new, nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel has a bistro which offers pizza, pasta, baguettes and sandwiches around the clock. Very good breakfast, everything was fresh and immediately backfilled, this was more than just value for money. I would come back any time and .
We took a room in this hotel because we would need to be on the airport by 7 a.m. the next day. It's ok, nice accomodations and services. Has a transfer from the airport (free on arrival) and to the airport (3 euros per person). They can also call a taxi for you that will cost about 7 euros to the Regionalbanhof (regional train station) in the Flughafen (Airport), Terminal 2. From there you can take a train from the S-Bahn (lines S8 or S9) to the F-. Hauptbanhof (Central Station) in the city c.
location was perfect for frankfurt main airport and also transport was well organised for longer trip to hann airport .
The hotel was very clean and rooms were small but very comfortable everthing you need was there ,Staff were all very helpfull and i noticed they were very organised in thier work .food was value for money and was suitable for short stay overall i was very happy with my stay and when i was leaving i thanked the staff for their hospitality ,for the money i paid for that night it.
Can walk to Terminal 2 in 10 minutes and then take the train to Terminal
1 and the S-Bahn to anywhere in Frankfurt very easily.
The room had air conditioning - many hotels in Germany don't, so this was a real plus.
Despite the proximity to the airport, the rooms are very well sound proofed.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable - the pillows were especially nice to have since most German pillows are flat and square and really don't serve their purpose well at all.

Very clean and modern, helpful staff, and close proximity to the airport. The transport to the airport from the hotel fills up quickly, but at 3 euros per person, it was cheaper for us to take a cab - which the reception will gladly arrange for you! Not a large selection of food, but suffices for an airport hotel. We did not have the breakfast, but looked like a good selection. The bar is open 24 hours if you need a late night cap!.
With a 10-hour layover, your hotel was spot-on. Immediately close to the airport, the simplicity is luxury mode was what we liked. The rooms were meticulously crafted, spotlessly clean with the latest styling and appliances. The spartan beds were remarkably comfortable with good linens and duvets. We thought it was perfect as was the pricing. The staff were friendly and engaging, not something the airport offered.....
Modern little hotel conveniently close to the airport. Easy to take the train into the city if you want to do some touring. Spotlessly clean! Surprisingly comfortable (and quiet) rooms packed with space-saving features. My kids loved the bunk beds! Busy but efficient breakfast area - great coffee machine! Outdoor seating off the bar/lounge/breakfast room was very pleasant.
The hotel had everything we needed and was very clean and very affordable. Even though they had only a snack bar, it was more than sufficient to meet our needs. I think snack bar is not a good description of what is offered. Maybe it should be called a cafe. The rooms are very nice and even had air conditioning, which was nice since we were there in July and it was very hot.
This hotel was great for our last night before returning to the US. Room was modern and clean, although a bit compact. Staff was very friendly accommodating with early check-in and directions to nearest gas station before rental car return. Extra charges for breakfast and shuttle to airport were moderate and fair considering airport location.
We stayed at this hotel one night because of its proximity to Frankfurt airport for our next day flight. Free shuttle from airport, 3E from hotel to airport. Rooms were clean with a nice bathroom. Snack bar downstairs with limited but adequate food service. The hotel itself seems to be quite new. No complaints, perfectly adequate.
The staff were very good to me. Quick registration at 23;30. Again in the morning the coffee ordered at front counter was allowed to be part of the included breakfast in a seperate room. Dual faucet control for shower, one for temperature and one for flow rate. Lastly, the soundproof windows, being by an airport this important.
We had a stopover in Frankfurt from 6am to 9pm on the Sunday and chose Meinenger for it's good proximity to the airport and for the obliging staff who were happy to allow us an early check-in. We were able to rest, refresh and relax, before continuing with the final flight and a 2 hour drive home thereafter. Thank you.
When you missed your flight and need to spent a night by the airport and you have an early flight tomorrow -what you need is a warm nice bed, some beer to ease up nerves sitting in a chair overlooking the airport and easy way to get back to airport tomorrow - it takes 10 min walking. Internet is free and unlimited,.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Relatively close to airport and an easy walk to terminal 2, rooms were relatively small but clean and tidy with bunk beds for kids. Not many hotels can cater for travelling gamilites. Luggage storage, early check (when available) was generous (we didnt use this).
It was excellent value for money. it was close to the airport. Room was clean, wifi was very useful. There was even free self service laundry facility (as long as you have your own soap). If you are willing to take a short bus ride, it was just as good as the other hotels that are in the vicinity.
I had to stay in Frankfurt overnight because of a connected flight and this hotel was perfect for that purpose. 3 min drive to the airport with a shuttle (free to get to the hotel, €3 to get to the airport), room was clean and cosy, staff was friendly, wi-fi free. I would def recommend it.
They have a guest kitchen in lobby with all equipment & things that
you need to make your meal. Like oil, salt, pan & .... at free. Only
you should buy main material to cook & ready your meal. Also a
washing machine available in there & you can wash your clothes free.

The walkway/halfway between the rooms is so small, if they cleaning staff is working and you may not move your luggage(which you are expected to have), other than, everything is great!!.
We were very impressed with the warm welcome and hospitality felt from check-in to check-out. The rooms were excellent, clean and well done. The bed was very comfortable. I cannot think of anything else that we could have wished for in a hotel. Location was excellent as well.

The hotel is perfect for travellers who are on a budget & need a room for a short stay eg. 1-3 nights. It's located a 5min shuttle bus away from the airport & provides a comfortable & clean environment. I would definitely recommend this place & I will return.

I served its purpose as across the road from the airport, was clean and very small cramped room.. but beyond staying for just one night in order rot make our flight in the morning, I would not stay here. It is an efficiently run hotel for business/ airport purposes..
Friendly and helpful staff, very near to the airport. Although the hotel
is near to the airport it is not noisy. Modern design. I asked an upper
floor room and give me, and I allow me to check in as soon as I reached
the hotel at 10 o clock in the morning.
1. The noise isolation is excellent, we can barely hear anything from outside even this hotel is very close to the Airport.
2. We also love the automatic curtain on the window, it stop all sunshine in the very morning and bring us a very good sleeping.

Airport hotel with a twist-a full shared kitchen with a free washer and dryer! Amazing! It's hard to find washers when you are on the road. Great business model. Wifi ok. Could park on the street, but private paid parking. Bed and pillows comfortable.

Rooms are small but clean and fine for a short stay. The shower would be tight for a large person.
The location is perfect for travelers who are taking early flight. The mattress is very nice; I like it a lot. And the 7.9 euro breakfast is fair. I also like that they have a small kitchen which allows people bring stuff to do simple cooking.
The shuttle bus is great - free is your coming from the airport (only leaves from Terminal 2) and 3EUR if your going to the airport (stops at both terminals.

Solid 3 star hotel, not the Ritz, but ably served its purpose as an airport stopover hotel while in transit. I was able to find a very good internet price. Clean, appeared to be fairly new, good level of basic conveniences. Good breakfast.
Great location. Cool atmosphere, loved being able to bring my own sandwich, heat it up and order a beer from the bar. Rooms were not plush but we payed a great price and got everything we needed on our layover. Definitely would reccomend.

dinner on the premises at a good price is a bonus..its too far from

Young staff was engaging and enthusiastic and very helpful. Pick service and delivery were on time and efficient. Rooms not huge but great for rest and sleep unless, you want to hide out for the day and watch tv, then stay home!.
Very close from the airport, they have their own van (combi) to go from the airport to the hotel and viceversa. Also, the place is very confortable to expend the night: they have a pool table, very clean guest kitchen and so on.
We came from the south of Germany and stayed over for a night in Frankfurt to catch our flight to US. There's a shuttle to/fro the airport which makes the location very convenient. The room we had was modern, nice and clean.

The location was excellent for getting to the airport. The room was on the small side but had everything you needed and was very clean. The staff was great and the hotel had good food choices on site. Glad we stayed there.
The price-value ratio is almost best among airport hotels. Everything that is needed is present, plus a transfer provided from the airport for free (to the airport you'll have to pay but the price is appr. 3 EUR per person).

What was there not to like? Friendly staff, clean and seemingly new accommodations, and all so close to the airport. My sons and I were completely satisfied. Additionally, we ate in the restaurant and the food was fine.
Bed and room were comfortable, good wifi in room, you can walk within 10 minutes to Terminal 1. Staff gave me directions so I could avoid taxi fare, which is a complete ripoff -€10 for Terminal 1 and €15 for Terminal 2.

This is a nice, clean hotel typical of the hotel chain. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We came into town on a national holiday and the hotel was the only restaurant open. The food at the bistro was good.
Our flight was next morning so we stayed in this hotel for one night. Hotel was very clean ans the staff was very friendly.Room was clean,I would recommend this hotel with out any hesitation and will stay there again.

Make sure you book the shuttle right away, as there are limited seats
and it fills up quickly. At 3 Euro each, however, a taxi isn't much
more expensive and just as fast.
I would have liked some clear information on where the meeting point was with the van.
we came into terminal1 and the hotel bus only picked up at terminal 2, an airport bus away. We decided a taxi was worth the cost, but found drivers were reluctant to take us such a short distance as they'd been in line for an hour for customers....perhaps the hotel would let the bus swing by both terminals as is done in some places...
The ongoing construction on all sides of the hotel didn't create the best views. Also it would be great if the shuttle had a call button - the half hour between pickups felt like a long wait. I don't think travellers would mind paying a small fee to get picked up quickly. Rooms are great if you are travelling light, but would be uncomfortably tight with large suitcases.
It was a bit difficult to find with navigation, the street address we were given wasn't in the system. The directions to the rental car return were very vague and we had considerable difficulty finding it.

free but they charge you 3 Euro for return to airport & this service
not exclusive for you. The bus should go to airport by schedule times to

A couple of staff members weren't so friendly. After breakfast you need to clear your own dishes & table which I've never experienced before.

There is no parking place for customer. We have to park our cars aside the road and the risk of getting ticket is ours.
Most of the staff were really good, but the first girl we had at the front desk needed some training on being pleasant and helpful. Probably a training issue as the rest were great.
I don't think the hotel should charge folks to transport them to the
airport (however, pickup from the airport is free).
Make sure you get a token for the shuttle bus when you pay for it - the woman at reception forgot to give me mine, so there was a bit of confusion with the bus driver. It got cleared up quite quickly though.
We were coming in from Rome on our way to the U.S. and the shuttle service was way far away from where we got off the plane. I say take a cab. The place is 5 minutes from the airport and is such a bargain, the free shuttle is not worth it.

- Slight complain. A shuttle bus from the airport terminal 2 to the hotel is located at the entrance 8 which is not stated in the website. You need to figure it out by yourself or by asking the airport info. A bus to the airport is not run every day. So, the shuttle bus is the most suitable.

I booked the hotel for the shuttle service and the lat night pickup was fine. But when I checked in, all shuttles between 6 and 10 am were already booked full, so I had to walk or take a taxi.
