The staff, location and excellent value. The rooms are small but very nicely equipped. 22nd street is more quiet than most, so the street noise was very low for NY. Neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops, subway is a short block away, and there is a Citibike stand right outside the front door.

Very quiet during our stay both from other rooms and from the outside. There is a grocery store on 8th ave between 22nd and 21st (2 minute walk).

The warm cookies, really helpful staff, shower pressure, the free bottled water was a massive highlight to us and has set a personal standard. Also having the opportunity to check in early was amazing after getting off an overnight flight.

the hotel was ideally located. All staff were very helpful and friendly, and rooms were excellent. HOWEVER, beware of booking a high-floor room thinking this will give you a view. I booked two high-floor rooms. One had a lovely view over the skyline, while the other had a view of a brick wall! This was a fantastic hotel for a nyc break. 10 minutes from time
square and just down the road from Hell's Kitchen Flea Market at
the weekend (a must visit). Excellent staff willing to help at all
times. Room was ideal, perfect for 2 people sharing..when people
suggest they are too small I wonder want they want the room for? This
was a city break

The location, staff, and cleanliness of the room. Excellent all around!
The location is a few blocks from The Port Authority Bus They don't
do room service every day, but if you need anything (towels, trash taken
out, dishwashing soap, etc.) the staff is super responsive and so nice!
The kitchen comes with pots, pans, and storage dishes so we could cook
in some nights and save a bit of money. We would stay here again in a
heartbeat.
