  Nice pool, good restaurant and enjoyed happy hour. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Christine in reception was especially nice and helpful and went out of her way to make our stay more enjoyable.   The staff were very helpful, inviting us to ask questions that would make our visit to New York City more convenient and successful. The facility was very clean and well-kept, and there is a #163 bus that stopped right in front of the hotel which we took into New York City. The morning breakfast was quite ample for our needs.   We stayed at Homewood Suites East Rutherfrom from August 13 - 17. Enjoyed the friendly staff. We did an early checking and Raysad (sorry for the spelling) was very accommodating. The friendly staff, the spacious and clean rooms with Jacuzz - My adult son and I were going to the Giants-Eagles football game. We wanted something close to Met Life Stadium. We also wanted to get into nyc easily. This provided both. An inexpensive bus ride in and out of nyc. Easy service to the game and back. Very, very curteous staff with all sorts of information and suggestions and a willingness to go out of their way to get us what we wanted. Excellent value for the the cost.
