This hotel location is very near to most amenities, from shops up to your chemist, with restaurant ever close by, it is difficult not t like thehotel, with the only exception of its not so free internet connection. Which I would expect for the value at which we paid for the room. -

The location to shopping and attractions such as Time Square, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center as well as the ease of access to many subway lines going straight downtown. I checked into Grand Hyatt in Dec2013.
I was pleasantly surprised by how big the rooms are; at least, twice as big as any other hotel that I have stayed in for a price around $400. The rooms are extremely good in terms of maintenance and all the facilities that you would expect of Hyatt.
