Loved the setting and the homely atmosphere at the guest house. There was only a double room available but wanted to see the area so much I booked which cost double the single price. When the staff found this out, they gave me free breakfast and use of the outdoor onsen for free which I did not expect. Very generous and would definitely stay again if visiting the sites at Hakone/

The food and accommodations were excellent. The outdoor hot spring was a bit small, but they give you a map to other outdoor hot springs nearby that you can also use for free. -
Their Kaiseki is awesome and staff are so friendlyand very helpful. Onsen is very nice and private.
