Fuji-Hakone Guest House - Fotos
Lo que la gente dice
Fuji-Hakone guesthouse is very popular and they were fully booked when I visited.
Their staff are friendly and can speak English very well. 2 of them have been to Singapore.
Their bath facilities are private and you can book the private onsen for half hour. Good to book early since it can be maxed out pretty quickly. There was an outdoor onsen but I didnt go.
The room is spacious, floored in tatami mat and equiped with radiator. The TV is HD.
Breakfast is an additional 800 yen, consisting of c. todo comentarios »
Loved the setting and the homely atmosphere at the guest house. There was only a double room available but wanted to see the area so much I booked which cost double the single price. When the staff found this out, they gave me free breakfast and use of the outdoor onsen for free which I did not expect. Very generous and would definitely stay again if visiting the sites at Hakone/.
The staff is very friendly and they all speak very well english.
All the house is very clean, like everywhere in Japan. Our room is very confortable with view on the mountain. Yukata are available during our stay, we could try them and decided to buy after.
Interior public bath can be used as private for free of charge (only exterior bath requires a charge).
The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff was very helpful and
attentive, and I really appreciated the private bath as I know my
husband would never have gone in a public bath; with the private we were
able to relax together. Also transportation to and from the guest house
was excellent as more than 1 bus route passed nearby.
Staff was very friendly and nice, spoke excellent English and gave us local recommendations. The guesthouse has a great fun vibe and we felt very welcome, like visiting friends. Our room was clean and nice and our stay overall very enjoyable.
Nice, helpful, friendly staff who carefully help you plan out your trip to fully enjoy Hakone.
Outdoor hot spring is so perfect I was about to melt inside.
Convenient location, close to bus stop with access to almost every locations you need.
The hotel has a genuine Japanese atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel staff is English-speaking and very helpful. The hotel is next to the bus stop with a supermarket and a few restaurants nearby. Recommended!.
We have stayed here many times over the years and have always found them to be very welcoming and friendly. This is a traditional style guest house so you will sleep on futons but they are quite comfortable.
Serious value for money. Your introduction to the Hakone park, the staff will explain everything. If they keep the prices I've been paying then I do not think you can beat the value for money.
Staffs were friendly and fluent in English. They also provide us a map
of the area and a well planned route for us to explore the city. The
hotel also has private hot spring.
Japanese pyjamas provided, and a great breakfast buffet. An outdoor
onsen for a cheap private hire and an indoor one for free, all in a
clean comfortable environment.
The staff is very friendly and approachable. Despite we arrived in the hotel late, they have reserved the indoor onsen for us! Superb service!.
Very helpful and friendly staff, stylish and clean Japanese-style rooms,
location well connected to main attractions in the area.
The host all speaks English, very important help especially since the tourism is mostly targetted for locals.
The guesthouse felt like just that.. Being guests in someone's home. Wonderful warm feeling.
Very very nice... Highly recommended to couples, especially.
Common area for chat, Hot Spring, Big Room.
Friendly staff.
Great ambience.
Hot springs.
Staff were helpful, rooms were clean, and the heater worked very well. The traditional beds were very comfortable.
location is very good for "hakone free pass" traveling.
Fuji-Hakone guesthouse is located in Senkyoro which is about 1h bus ride from Odawara station. The indivudual bus fare to the guesthouse alone is 1020 yen so it makes economical sense to buy the Hakone Free pass which covers nearly all transportation. The 2 day pass is 3900 yen excluding transport from shinjuku station.
Bear in mind there is an additional 500 yen to pay on top on your reservation. This is the Hakone local tax.

Nothing for us. We really appreciate this guest house.
The businesses near to the guest house all seemed to be closed in the
middle of the day (maybe because it was the rainy season), and it was
difficult to find a restaurant. Also we had some small ants in our room.
Nothing. :D.
A lot of the buses in the area stop around 5pm or do not run on
weekdays so be sure to be on your way back from sightseeing in time or
check your routes!.
Uncomfortably cold common areas, my room had a smell of dirty feet
although it was absolutely clean, shared toilets don't allow for
much privacy.
It was a little far from Hakone Yumoto Station, but nothing a HAKONE FREE PASS cannot solve since most buses stops by it.
Share Bathroom.
The set breakfast is expensive and unappealing. There are not many restaurants around.
there are two "hot springs" in the guest house, the one outside (better, of course) is not for free as you might think.
