The hotel is positioned really great near Ben Thanh Market. The staff is very kindly. The rooms are clean, but in my opinion a little bit too small for the price. Service is really great. The hotel is very good and really nice looking. Just loved the breakfast location - both the restaurant and the terrace. The staff is generally very helpful and nice as well. I did not get to stay at the hotel. I had to remind the reception staff to give me the evidence of my payment and return my credit card (!). I am sure they were not going to misuse it, but better keep an eye on such things. Staffs isn't friendly Vinasun taxi is betther than other. On the second floor it was a bit street noisy. But didn't keep us from a good night sleep :-). Hard to locate as there are so many A & Em hotels. Make sure you go to the right one. One single elevator Noisy maids Thin wall. The room is a bit small. I was shocked to go to the spa for a Thai massage, then to be asked for a tip, and even told it was not enough. My companion received the same treatment. Tips are voluntary. Poorly maintained, e.g. leaking bathtub so the whole bathroom under water. Sometimes AC or hot water did not work. Cockroach in our bathroom. Beware - Tea and coffee in room is not complimentary! Which I thought was mean spirited, I was slapped with usd3 for that! Bet many guests are caught up unaware! Corridors poorly maintained and did not look very clean! Jaccuzzi bath had a lot of 'gubbins' and little space for a bath! Not really 4 Star hotel as claimed!. Gym was in repair however I had specifically booked this hotel for this reason when I told the manager she advised I could go to another gym for $1.50 cab ride. After arguing with her she then said she would pay for it. Considering her status is manager I found her to be quite rude. I've make reservation for 03 rooms but the housekeeping standard for the 03 rooms is different : some have laundry bags, some with slippers, even the toiletries is not renewed on 1 of the days. Ideal if there were some complementary beverages apart from the 2 bottles of mineral water. The room was very noisy, the bathroom was dirty. The staff were not interested in helping with anything. the view,ho chi minh. The staff is really highly unprofessional. We have been woken up every morning by the cleaning shouting in the corridor, talking at the phone etc.. At the reception thy made a mistake for the taxi reservation and they tried to refuse us a taxi. at least staff sholud speak english. Breakfast restaurant not ready as indicated for early birds. Poor attention and personnel did little to make us feel comfortable. Cleaning of the area continued while having breakfast. No pool. SPA services " hidden payment" you need to pay the hotel USD 12, the tip that I need to pay to massager is USD 7. (Just make it clear the payment already inclusive for the massagers). Broken Internet Keybord in the room Non-fonctionning Air Conditionning in the room Renovations in the next room - all day drilling, very loud, not relaxing. I booked for this hotel only to be told when I arrived that I was going to be transferred to another hotel as they did not have room. The manager was very rude and I found out later that we had been down graded but they still expected us to pay the original amount.
