  A small group of us stayed at the Asiatic during the us Open this year and we had a wonderful stay! After long sticky days at the Open there was nothing better than coming "home" to our clean, well- appointed, and quiet rooms. The hotel is very well located with only one subway stop from the tennis center, and a straight ride to Grand Central for ... what people say » a night out in Manhattan. The free breakfast was a great touch, and the hotel is surrounded by the best Chinese food restaurants in the us. Very authe - The rooms were really nice! It was a huge draw that the hotel was new but I didn't realize that some of it was still under construction. Nevertheless the rooms were clean, I loved the style, but they were a bit small. Other than that I would highly recommend staying there. Also despite the previous reviews that no one there spoke English that is incorrect. The staff was very friendly. I will advise that the surrounding neighborhood consists of a lot of people that do not speak English.
