The staff at front desk was very professional and accommodating. We had 3 reservations and requested at 2 days before our visit for our rooms to be as close as possible. Our rooms were 225, 226 and 227, thanks again. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. I would suggest putting creamers in an iced bowl, like the picture of milk. I noticed many people opening the restaurant refrigerator and helping themselves, including myself until the waitress mentioned nicely that was for the restaurant an.
all reviews » Nice location, with easy on/off to hwy. The room was quiet (at back of motel, near pool). The beds were comfortable, air conditioner worked well. Also, there was a small frig & microwave - great for families. Staff was friendly & helpful too. Great pool to swim in, but no hot tub. Rooms were up to date and very nice, beds were comfortable, love having a king bed as a choice, nice breakfast, friendly staff, and you can't beat the price. The location was in the center of all our travels. It was easy to find and convienent access to the freeway. The pool was a nice addition too. The bed was super comfy, I liked that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. ease of finding, handy from freeway, quiet, comfortable bed and accommodations. A nice renovated room. The jasmine by the lobby smelled amazing and there was coffee and juice for breakfast. The staff was nice, the breakfast is what you'd expect, toast, bagel Danish, not much more except coffee, some juice and milk. It had a pool. THE SHEETS HAD GREASE SPOTS the bedspreed was dirty and the carpet was also soiled. The pool and that I could watch my girls from my room... Interior of room clean and adequately appointed. There was a long hair on the shower wall when we arrived. The was a stain in the fitted sheet. The sheet was clean but some people may have not been happy this as at the first glance the sheet appeared to be soiled. This motel is older and needs some remodeling touches. Carpet is old & was worn at the door entry and tack strip was exposed. Location. It is an ok location if you were going to the theme park close by or just passing through, but not a lot around that area. But still worth the price even if it did require a little extra drive time to Napa Valley, the Muir Woods, or the Golden Gate area. The neighborhood wasn't that great. The breakfast was small and ran out of items quickly. The smell of the room was a little musty, almost like it had been a smoking room before it was made non smoking. It was hard to find at first. Only gripe...we stayed Fri nite and Sat. When we got to our room late Sat nite the bed looked made but the sheets were only over half the bed and no one had been in the bath to clean.no new towels, no emptied trash can. Wasn't good. I let desk staff know the next morning. That was the only dissapointment .. otherwise wonderful. Bob Higgins. Can't think of anything. Old tv. It was pretty dirty. The weeds growing out of the sidewalk was not very appealing. And the breakfast at the little restaurant was stale and we had to take it to go. One and done stay for me. Not being told that your room card will need re-activated when extending your stay from the original check out date. Some of the walls in the room were dirty. The carpet was old. It had several stains. It was separating from the wall. The curtains did not close completely. The microwave was dirty. damaged floor in bathroom. I didn't like that theroom didn't have towels like I requested. Then when they cleaned the room, they only made the bed. Towels were not replaced, there was no toilet paper . all the wall switches in the bathroom didn't work upon arrival, no battery in smoke detector, ice cold pool, ice machine in pool area only, that area closed at ten.... Not hot water, breakfast lacking. letsbookhotel.com did not inform hj of my request fir pull out bed. There wasn't enough parking and it was hard to maneuver. The standard rooms were obviously run down, stained linens, rust in the tub, ripped bed skirts, dust on every surface and dirty refrigerator and microwave. There was some serious deep cleaning that needed to take place. The sheets are not changed between guests. I know because it's had grit and hair belonging to other people. We even asked for a new pillow case because ones of them had splatters of blood on it. Floor extremely dirty. The room had many stains. The tv was outdated. Had many female long hair all over the restroom. It was just my son and I. It was not a very clean room,bathroom had hairs on the rail of bathtub and on the wall. the carpet has red stains, the room had a ugly smeal. Back patio wall had a hole, like someone on the other side hit it.I WOULD NOT STAY OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Shabby grounds and poor breakfast. Room was dirty, loud from people above. the prostitute, the unclean sink, and broken tile. Misplaced my luggage. Move to 3 different room in one day. Carpets were wet in 2 of the rooms. Very loud outside. Pool was scheduled to close at 10pm people were swimming and being very loud at 12:30am. I called and complained two times. Very worn; bedspreads spotted; room smelled; noisy. there was garbage form someone else under the bed. There was no plug to take a bath. Not very clean, only 1 bath towel in room, breakfast was sub par,. The place was filthy Nothing in the room appeared clean The breakfast was pathetic..people waiting in line for waffles for 40 minutes. They charged me twice and trying to get my money back. There was chewed up gum on the head board, only one towel & when we called to get more they were out & when we finally got some they looked dirty. The floor behind the bed & along edges hadnt been vacuumed in weeks or months. The night stand was not even wiped clean. It was so sick I didn't let my kids touch anything or walk barefoot on the floor. We slept with our own pillows & blankets from the car. Landscape was un attractive ice machine looked like it had been run over. the above should be here also. the bathroom was the nicest place in the room. That they reserved a room with no air conditioner working then , we had 3 staff members enter the room without knocking...,the maintenance person kept telling us all conditioners are blowing the same low air, they finally switched our room and the air worked as it should..... Outside of property was filthy...including the room used for the "continental breakfast". It was supposed to be a suite. The couch was dirty,the carpets were dirty,the towels smelled like cigarettes. This was supposed to be a newly remodeled room. The only thing that looked remodeled was the bathroom. The TV was even old! I would never stay there again. I thought I was getting a good deal. Everything!!! Filthy place! Dirty from lobby to rooms, smoking facility inside and out! Pictures are so misleading on website. Do not go here! I always remember these being clean as a kid but this place is disgusting!. Well just about everything ! The place does not look like the photos on the web site ,so disappointed! We will never stay to this place again.... The place outside was so run down and cracked driveway, broken furniture,dirty walls . Motel 6 would have been better and saved about $50 ,enough to buy breakfast , since they stop serving at 9am.. Most places serve breakfast until at least10-10:30am .......I could keep going but I won'T....... Most of the lightings and appliances doesn't work. Dirty and stinky inside the room. Dirty room, wifi did not work restroom was old dated and dirty. Hotel was dirty everywhere. total state of disrepair. Pool was in horrible shape and no-one dared use it. Carpets were particularly dirty. There was a patch in the bathroom door of a different colour to the rest of the door. Keep away at any price!. The lobby smelled like garbage The clerks were dressed unprofessional. I had to have maid put new bedding on the bed because there were yellow stains everywhere. Pictures were missing on the walls. Signs of flooding in the bathroom. Hotel appears to be old and run down. I left something in the room and they were very rude about giving it back. I will never stay at a Howard Johnson hotel again. And if I had a suite I hate to see what the other guest had to deal with. The bloody hand prints on the wall,and the cloud of weed smoke that hit me in the face when I walked in the room. Also didn't like the fact that there were drug deals going on in the parking lot. Stayed one night and then checked out. it was dirty, unkept, broken, staff didn't know what was going on, breakfast was horrible and it was very very rundown. The staff however did try - they just did not have any backup to assist them. Hotel very dirty , unorganized.

Please note that there is a USD 100.00 cash deposit for guests making cash payments. Guests are allowed 15 minutes after check-in to cancel their reservation and receive a refund. The seasonal pool is open daily between 09:00 to 21:00 (closed earlier at 19:00 during the winter season). There is no lifeguard. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Only guests of the hotel are permitted to use the pool. Guests under the age of 21 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The hotel reception is only operated a full 24 hours on Friday and Saturday. The office closes at 3 AM Sunday through Thursday. Please note that during the opening and closing hours of Six Flags theme park, the hotel will only have one shuttle in operation. You must make a reservation for the shuttle 24 hours in advance with the number of adults and children in your group. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
