The location of the resort was prefect! We had a beautiful view from the second floor, so make sure you ask for a second floor unit. The front desk people were friendly and welcoming, and the maintenance guy was extremely polite! We love the studio unit layout and the kitchen amenities. Coffee and computer in the lobby a plus! The pool areas were clean and the lounge chairs were comfy. Alol the staff were great. We rented movies, used the gym and used the pool. The desk staff were quick to register me in and offered me a map to pick my room and advised me several locations close to one of the pools. We got to check in early so it felt like a free day. all reviews » The villas were nice. It is convenient to have a fully equipped kitchen. The pots and pans were Cuisinart. The complex was quiet and relaxing and conveniently located next to the beautiful pool. My daughter and I took desert runs every morning. Conveniently located a mile or so from Red Rock Park. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, the bathtub was awesome (great for tall people) and the setting was beautiful. The front desk staff at check-in and checkout were amazing, very friendly and helpful with great smiles. The landscape that i saw from my room was amazing, good position to visit Sedona and all the red mountains... the sofabed was very confortable and the shower very big! Clean and well organize. We spent a week at Sedona Summit. The first nights room was not what I had hoped for so we spoke with the manager and she arranged a much nicer room. We loved it!!!. a beautiful area of the world and very unique with those red mountains.A very good place for a the location of this very comfortable hotel/timeshare. Nice accomodations. Great setting, Closeness of hiking and city but yet far enough away to not be able to easily access the middle of town. I liked the rooms-very nice and designed well. Big balconies, full kitchen was nice. Plenty of pools and nice work-out facility. Cozy, comfortable, bedding and mattress is the best and that is why I return. Shampoos and soap, all things covered. Great!. Great place to stay with all the amenities you could wish for . would definitely stay again. Staff was courteous. Room was very nice esp. With the kitchenette. Bathroom was very nice. We stayed in room 274p. the room was lovely, but the bed was terrible. The mattress needs to be replaced. We even flipped it ourselves in hopes to get a better nights sleep. I asked three people to plase give us a view room before we arrived but they only have 60 such rooms and we did not get one. I had two phone calls before we got there trying to get us in a time share presentation. The internet had very poor connection abilities. The night front desk clerk was unfriendly, rude and not not at all helpful. Nothing! everything was perfect. When we made coffee in the first room it was fine but when we were moved to the better room the water tasted funny. We had to get coffee at a restaurant. We did notice a maintenance man flushing out the water lines on our last day. Nothing negative to report. The high pressure sales pitch to buy into the condos. Did not know this would be part of the booking. I might have booked eslewhere had I known this. Just unpleasant to have to refuse this and go through the whole "game" when we are not interested in another condo - already have one time-share plan. Too late check-in and too early check-out. I did not like the pressure of the concierge on trying to join the vacation plan. Also I paid for a room with a view and had about a 5% view between buildings of the red rocks in Sedona. Disappointing to say the least. Nothing, but just a tiny bit pricey. We were not able to spend more than one night. The couch arm was well worn and probably needed to be replaced or patched. no place to eat or drink, finding our room in the dark was hard. We werent offered any help. Check in was stressful. check out time is oddly early. it would have been a deal breaker if i had noticed in advance. When first arrived the room assigned to us was occupied even tho the front desk had checked with house keeping. Had to wait to get another room assigned. We had all our bags out of the car and had to wait in the sun as I made several trips back to the front desk. My grandkids swam in the pool, but not all hotel guests were happy with the kids being there. It was the main pool outside of the lobby. Suggestion to have a sign to indicate it is kid friendly. The room had an odor in it. I suspect a previous tenant did something bad and housekeeping probably did a great job fixing whatever was done. The odor was bleach or similar chemicals, but hskg put a odor removal machine on counter to eliminate odor and the weather was nice enough to open the patio door and over a few hours all was okay. They had a full house , so I think hskg did a good job with that. Also the couch/bed was very uncomfortable for sleeping. High pressure to participate and buy time shares from Diamond Resorts staff.. need WiFi. High pressure salesperson wanting to discount a jeep tour in exchange for a 2 hr tour/sales pitch to sell timeshares. She wouldn't take no for an answer. We were sent to her desk to receive our "welcome kit." We only wanted a room, not a sales pitch. Local phone number not available, only 800 no. that was not answered when looking for Sedona Summit that was well hidden. nothing. Check in. we waited 1.5hres to get our room. The online pictures of the suite were misleading. The actual suite only comes with a shower and not a bath shower combo the way it appears in the photos. I felt that the pictures online portrayed a much different unit. However, I knew as a studio we would be in right quarters but the pictures showed a jacuzzi tub which was appealing for the rate and unit size, which was not included in our room. Furthermore, after a long work day then 2 hour drive all I wanted was to check in and enjoy my evening. But upon check in you are constantly pressured to attend a presentation to purchase a time share. Very disatisfying. Our suite was right next to the freeway and was very noisy. The clothes dryer did not work properly. The staff was very aggressive about our going to a sales talk and in return we would receive a free vacation. We told them several times that we were not interested, but they did not seem to get the message. The sales pitches for Time Share!. A little too far from from the action but beautiful surroundings. Nowhere in the marketing materials was it mentioned that this is a time share property. Also, the property was much older then the photos. We were very disappointed with this resort in almost every aspect. There was an air conditionar like machine on the kitchen counter. We thought this was a protable air conditioner. It made me sick. I was unable to sleep due to coughing. The pressure to hear the "pitch" both before we arrived (we received a phone call before we left) and then when we checked in was inapprpriate.

Please be advised that the Sunset Pool and Spa is currently closed for renovations until 28 February 2018. Now through 30 March 2018 there will be on-site construction and renovation at our ADA parking spaces throughout the resort. During this time, guests will experience some noise, may smell tar, and see construction workers/equipment during the daytime hours. Mesa Pool and Spa will be closed 22 January 2018 to 3 February 2018 for renovation. Due to the resort location, WiFi and cellphone services may be limited while on property.
