Upon arrival we were offered wine, chocolate chip cookies, lemon water and cheese scones (free!). The rooms were decorated Victorian style with individual flair and attention to detail. I liked the quirkiness of the hotel, with it's weird themed rooms and completely different inspired everything. From it's pink dining room to the towel hooks in the bathroom.
The carpet was really soft. I know that sounds weird, but it was probably the most cushy carpet i have ever walked on. -
We love going to the Madonna Inn over the holidays.

the staff was very friendly and made it possible for us to check-in early. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice size and not crowded. Cookies and coffee served in the evenings and a pretty good breakfast served in the mornings. -

We got a very good deal on letsbookhotel.com so it was really worth staying there (the price was as for a "motel 6-type" room but the room was better than an average "motel 6-type" of room).
In our room it was relatively quiet, despite the motorway nearby (though I suspect that some rooms might indeed be a bit more noisy but rather not too much).

Loved the location as it was close to the edge of town so peaceful, though that might. Not suit everyone.
Room decor was a bit dated but the bed was comfy and the room was spacious.
Breakfast was adequate but the lack of a designated breakfast room was a let down.
