Very comfortable stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Was exactly the place I was looking for, would definitely stay there again. Superb location, yet still quiet for sleeping, highly recommend. The hotel was great, service and amenities. decor, location, personality. The front desk staff, the decor, the room, the furniture, the bathroom amenities, the business centre, the free wi-fi, pretty much everytihng.

Very charmful hotel with an excellent location, close to pretty much everything. Reasonable price considering everything.The hotel is very good. Location is perfect, very close to Powell Street station. Notice there is no breakfast served at all and no minibar/fridge or safety box in the room. You could deposit your valuables at the reception though. The most annoying part however is the noise in the night. The local drunks loves to scream/sing going home apparently. Trash is collected 4am. The front desk are very nice and helpfull. Always greeteed us with a friendly smile as we come and go.Hotel location, friendliness of staff. The remodeling of the hotel was generally good. The bed was too close to the window wall due to the wall plug adapters (why wasn´t the wall plug moved closer to the entrance?). The bathroom is spacious, but poorly utilized. It would have been better if a shelf was available between the sink and the shower to accomodate our toiletries. As a fan of wines, I much appreciated their happy hour.We liked the excellent location on Powell Street, Ipod player in room and complimentary wine in the early evening. location, good access to Internet. Some soundproofing from the outside would make the hotel much more attractive, then I would definately stay again. our room was a little small for a deluxe queen... tripped over the bed a few times. other than that, great. the water pressure was a bit wacky for a bit but this was really minimal - it's a great hotel with an awesome location...close to shopping etc. thought the car parking should be included - it was $35 per night - very steep!. very hot...fan in room really didn't cool it. Noise was a problem - because to had to keep windows open due to no central air.The hotel rooms didn't have air conditioning, but this is minor, all in all - our stay at the hotel union square was absolutely wonderful.. besides, it was very cold the whole time. No drawers in the room!! Strange.Our room was too hot with no air-con. cold shower in the morning, no airco, so had to sleep with the window open in a noisy city, location of TV should be opposite both beds, not beside one bed. It was a little warm in the room, but the fans and small air conditioner was helpful. There were no windows to see outside, and no storage space for clothes or bathroom items. Room was way too small, especially the bathroom, it was tiny. View at the wall!. Room was abnormally warm due to lack of appropriate a/c and outside ventillation. The room was small and the bathroom even more.Lack of regular window - the window was the kind that you cannot see through it, only light gets in. However, the wall of heighbouring building was only ca. 3-4 metres away, so there was nothing interesting to watch through the window ;-). The price that I I made via booking.com was different than I had to pay at the hotel.We felt the price was very high for a fairly modest hotel. We appreciate that there was a large convention on at the time. we felt you took advantage of that.
