this is a very well restored historical hotel. it was very comfortable in a nice small downtown area. I was able to sleep with the window open and was not bothered by any noise all night. try that in the big city.

We loved the overall décor and ambiance of the hotel, the pool/spa, the rooms, the excellent buffet breakfast in the morning and the free fruit and cookies available during the day. They also had good Wi-Fi speed and gave out free USA today papers to every room. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

I liked the balcony. Nice room overall. Our room was not clean when we
entered the room. We told the front desk staff and when we returned
later we were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of sparkling cider and
glass and a note. Very awesome! I also forgot my phone charger in the
room and was called about 20 minutes later after checking out. It was
left at the front desk where I easily retrieved it. Again, Thank you!

excellent. One small detail that impressed me, was the second day, the
maid staff noticed I used both regular coffee packets, and did not use
the de-caff, so they left three regular. That kind of detail oriented
