    We called to confirm the special arrangements to protect husband's asthma needs. letsbookhotel.com did not provide the notes to the lodge. They said this always occurred. The lodge did a fantastic job of taking the requested precautions I gave them directly. Also the front desk staff-ALL OF THEM WERE TOP NOTCH IN KINDNESS, helpfulness, quick, cari... what people say » ng and warm. The lodge is so lucky to have those folks as staff. They were the best I've ever met. We came back Mon. Nite and Doug Smith was especiall - The location and the lodge itself are great. They have a great view on the valley and the Columbia river. The room was very nice, comfortable, clean and in general very pleasant. We were given an upgrade since the hotel was not very full and had a really nice view. The hotel is equipped with full amenities and have a great yard for a short wak in the morning and the evening.

    The bedroom and bathroom furnishings are luxurious and very comfortable; well light hallways and rooms; very beautiful and graceful main floor--true to period; excellent and well trained staff; awesome food; the town car service is awesome especially since I was traveling with my elderly mom who could not walk great distances (my mom felt very pos... what people say » h); the ability to visit the ballrooms, etc. to learn about the history of the original hotel from the turn of the 20th century. Close to down town sh - I'm very angry at letsbookhotel.com for giving me a room in the tower which I asked specifically not to be put in. I asked for the hotel for a special gift for my friend for her 50th bd get-together. I was so sad that what we got was a large, uninteresting room for the price I thought I was paying for the beautiful Supreme Deluxe room in the hotel that I'd asked for. Not the tower.

    Beautiful facility, elegant lobby. Lots of high quality oak finish work in all public spaces. Rooms and beds were comfortable, and very quiet. My room had a balcony overlooking the gardens and pools. The landscaping of the facility is outstanding, really beautiful.
