  Well, if you have to point the exact center and downtown of Providence, ri, you would have to put the pin on The Biltmore... This is like an icon of the city and one of those old-school American hotels. The location itself is unbeatable and it looks over the 'central park' of Providence; Kennedy Plaza. The rooms are nice, the lobby looks old-schoo... what people say » l. But that's about it. - Service was excellent, friendly and attentive front desk and concierge--available at all hours. The front desk upgraded me to a larger room with morning sun. The bed was very comfortable, firm with a mountain of soft pillows. Good, fast (and complimentary) wireless. Fitness room was empty at 5:30 a.m. easily accessible and with towels and bottled water.

Very happy they have shuttles taking you onto Thames St. Ordered fried calamari and it was very, very good! All staff so nice but Paulina who checked us in was outstanding!!!!!! - The location was beautiful. We have decided to make it a yearly occurance.
