  On our New England Tour we stayed here for the first night. The hotel is not far from the highway, nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff, has a swimming pool, a fitness room and a small store.   The hotel is right in the center of everything there is to do. You can walk everywhere except to the mansions and then the Visitors Center is only a block away and you can get a bus to take you to the mansions. Our car never left the parking lot. It was near the waterfront as well as shopping and restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They gave excellent directions to nearby sights. Parking, although extra, was conveniently located across the street; just a few steps from the inn. Breakfast, which was included, was "just right" and was located in a homey and warm living room like location.
