You definitely need a car to get to the shopping areas, restaurants and downtown, but it's all worth it and it's not very far.

  Sleep Inn has a GREAT staff - friendly, considerate, and proactive. I interacted with 3-4 staff members and all were impressive.   Front desk staff was very patient and so very helpful. Helped me figure out how to get my rental car back - even though construction was taking place on the roads. Also, the breakfast was great! A very friendly atmosphere at all times. My room was very large and had I been traveling with others or for a longer time it was set up like a miniature ... what people say » home and would have been comfortable. - The rooms were clean and the staff very accommodating. The free breakfast is a nice touch. And we spent a day at their pool. And the shuttle to the airport was very welcomed. It is very convenient for Worlds of Fun and shopping.

Had to unexpectedly keep in touch with a realtor and loan officer out of state and the computers and printer was a godsend.   I love that they don't serve breakfast in the lobby and you don't have to watch a bunch of people stuff their faces with "free food." - The staff was very helpful and friendly. The two times we had to the shuttle to the airport the drivers were very good.

  Absolutely loved my stay at the Plaza Embassy Suites. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. The pool area with the two-tier heated pool and hot tub was great, and stayed open until midnight, later than most hotels. They have a Manager's reception for 2 hours every evening with free drinks, you can't beat free drinks! I will not hesitate to stay here again. - The Hotel staff were very accommodating in every area. They appeared to enjoy their jobs, whether they were busing tables, serving food or cleaning rooms. Breakfast and Happy hour (2hr) were fantastic. Building is older but is well maintained and very clean. Only two treadmills in the workout area but they were often vacant, just not in the morning.
