We would highly recommend this hotel and would return in a - We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

  Nice clean hotel within walking distance to convention center, wwii Museum, buses, streetcar stations. We walked to French Quarter and it was a nice 10 ~ 15 min walk. Our room had a king bed, sofa and desk area, kitchen area w/small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a sink. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. If you was in bed you can turn the tv towards the bed, if you was on the couch you can turn the tv towards the couch. I love It!!

  This reveiw is for our visit on 12/2. We got a ground floor room, the beds were much more comfortable than the last room. We were able to park right in front of our room. Again the Staff was Great, we ask for a good local restaurant and their recommendation was terrific. We pointed out a couple of things that should be taken care of in our room an... what people say » d were met by the supervisor of housekeeping and their maintenence person so we could expain our concerns. They seemed to appreciate our input and tol - Staffing can make or break any business but specially in the hospitality business. The check in and check out staff are really good at their job. The breakfast served offered many options. Could add biscuits and gravy, but did just fine without it.

We also loved that breakfast and was served Monday each morning, and dinner was served Monday thru Thursday for free, with very good hot and enjoyable meals. The location was great also, within walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to - My overall stay was awesome!!!! The staff members overall service was superb!!! They were pleasant from the time we checked in up to the moment we checked out. This was one of my best stay at any hotel and I have stayed at many hotels. Management did an awesome job in choosing these employees. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.   Front desk staff, cleanliness of room, good bed, good shower, easy access to I-10, and several good restaurants in the area - Hotel satff was extrememly friendly, room excellent would recommend to others. Couldn't beat the price!
