the rooms were great, clean and quiet with comfortable bedding. We also loved that breakfast and was served Monday each morning, and dinner was served Monday thru Thursday for free, with very good hot and enjoyable meals. Never had this type of service provided while staying at a hotel. The room had a small kitchenette, with frig, stove, microwave, utensil, all you need. The location was great also, within walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to .

The breakfast and light dinner provided was a huge winner for a tourist traveller It was well within walking distance of French quarters, canal street, trams etc. Rooms are maintained to very good level. A winner. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay. The free WiFi and breakfast were good reasons to choose this hotel. Great location to the heart of the French Quarter and Riverwalk. We were very comfortable there and we will stay there again on our next trip. We reccommend this hotel to our friends. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We have been coming to New Orleans every year for the past 17 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed. The location and proximity to street car stops were great. The entire staff (men & women) were super nice, friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the fridge and microwave even tho we didn't use them a lot. People at desk very friendly and helpful. Having a real breakfast in the hotel is a great idea, becaue a family with small kids do not have to take them out in the early morning to eat. It was one of the best hotel I have book. Midweek you get a light meal and drinks for free during a 2 hr happy hour, the location. Parking was very costly, but close by, across street from hotel, but with everything so close by, you really don't need a car. The one thing I did not like was pets are allowed in the hotel. I understand people love their pets but... Are special rooms designated for guests who check in with their pets? If not it should because families are staying with their children and if a pet stayed previously wet the carpet or something else and the carpet was not clean that child or adult has been exposé to all those unsafe germs. I just think special rooms needs to be design for people with pets. Nothing. Not much, some small observations- as we did not have a car the parking fee did not concern us, but i did hear two conversations that indicated that they were not happy with the parking rate. I am not an easy person to please and I have no complaints about anything concerning th Hotel. We didn't actually dislike not having housekeeping every day but it would have been nice to have. No complaints. Even though our room was non smoking it always smelled like smoke. As soon as the air would come on and circulate it would get worse. For a non smoker this was disappointing. That is my only complaint. Absolutely nothing - it was perfect. Tough for newcomers to know where to park to check-in on a busy Friday night, and parking across the street was pretty pricey. One of the elevators was out, so for 2 out of the 4 days is was a little problem, but the last 2 we were able to use the service elevator, which was clean. The bathroom faucet fixture was broken, and I reserved a queen sized room, and because my cc declined I was told by the check in person that I was upgraded to a double bed. The bed was small and uncomfortable for my husband and I, but we made the best of it, seeing as how it was the first game for the saints. This was my birthday weekend and it was extra special for me since it was our first time visiting the city. The thermostat in our room was broken, so the room was really cold most of the time. Since they reduce the staff on the weekend, no one was available to bring extra blankets and we had to wait until the next day for someone to fix the problem. There were a few maintenance issues, such as the elevator not working properly. Dot think there was anything wrong with our stay. Breakfast was a little crazy. No eggs on the last day. A breakfast staple. The false evacuation alarms. Charged for parking. We didn't have enough towels in our room. Has 2 elevators & 1 was broken & not fixed after 4 days. Room service slow, bed was wobbly. Our toilet would not flush the First day we were there. The Staff told us that there is no room cleaning on Saturday. Room was not thoroughly prepared. Icemaker not on so had to go 18 floors down to get ice. At breakfast no milk. parking prices. Had to pay for parking. Car got booted but hotel handle it. Car Park Over Priced. The curtains didn't close. wait time to get room. Parking Facility. Only two elevators, only two luggage movers, never available, not enough room in breakfast room and not enough area for food nor enough personnel to keep food replenished!. no wi-fi inside the room. The staff needs to communicate alittle better.
