We left our Ipad in the room and they called us rightaway to return to

The staff was absolutely top-notch, especially the concierge, Rich. After an all-night Megabus trip, we stopped in to stow our luggage until the 3pm check in. They said our room was available immediately, if we would like an early check in (6 hours early at no additional charge). Unheard of! Amazing and gracious. This is my second stay at a Kimpton Hotel. I would be hard pressed to go anywhere else after this lovely experience.

The hotel lies in the middle of the down town in a fairly safe area near to almost all of the attractions of the city and within a walking distance from the blue line subway which goes directly to the airport. This is a great location for getting around Chicago downtown. Hotel has efficient and friendly staff; fantastic upper floors restored interior and history of the building is exceptionally interesting. Rooms are clean and comfortable with decent views if you are facing due east.
Great bar and bistro on the ground floor.
I will definitely visit again.

This was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. I was
a stranded traveler, and the room had everything I needed to be
comfortable. There was a nice, fluffy bathrobe, and the bed was very
comfortable. They had a great Keurig coffee maker in the room and a well-
stocked (if expensive) mini-bar. The staff was helpful, and the room was
very comfortable. Plus, the shuttle service to and from the airport was
top-notch.
