We had a huge double queen room which was awesome as we were two adults and two kids. The area is nice and safe and we had parking at the hotel. Specially appreciated to wooden floors which gave the place a very clean feeling (don't like those musty smelly carpets). Staff were very friendly, proffesional and helpful. Room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Location very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay.
all reviews » This affordable hotel is only a 2 block walk to the Redondo Pier and beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. the complimentary juice, tea, or coffee with wrapped pastries, the front desk woman chantelle was very nice. The room was clean and the facilities where good the location was within walking distance to the pier. it was great time with my wife hotel was perfect in every way will be going back. Good price, good parking, good location. Basic but clean and safe. Near the pier. Easy to get in and out to drive to shops. The flooring was beautiful. Nice hand scraped wood. It was clean. Breakfast was decent, fruit orange juice coffe rolls and ect. The girl in the morning was very nice. Would stay again if beds were changed out in remodel. This place is a nice place. When finished remodel should look very nice. Helpful reception staff. Free parking. Morning breakfast. Location. They had breakfast rolls in the morning and a couple of other things. Close to the beach. Good parking. 12pm late checkout available. standardroom clean and neutral friendly girl at the reception. Being in an L.A. beach community. Location Price. You're right on Hwy 1 which makes it quite noisy. We had a corner room which also didn't help. My assumption is that if you had a room further around the corner the building of the hotel would block out more noise. Had to ask for additional towels a couple of times but other than that it was all good. Sometimes one can hear road noise or other guests at night. The air conditioning unit for our room was also very noisy. smoking room didn't have balcony, and window faced PCH (noisy). The bed it was very hard and uncomfortable . The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were flat. Hard to sleep on. 20$ deposit was confusing. Was being remodeled and help was loud and yelling outside early in the morning. Poor quality WIFI reception. The room could do with a makeover as it was looking tired. The wooden headboard was sticky!!! Needs a good clean. The garage area stunk of gas and oil real bad ,made me sick. The room needed a good cleaning. The microwave has never been cleaned The bed was harder than a rock pillows suck, bring your own. The guy at the front desk in the evening couldn't have cared less. In the morning the woman was kind though. the guy at the reception at night is quit confused and unfriendly breakfast is poor. milkpowder and some fruits with instant coffee. Rooms were very small. Bathroom products offered were minimal. Swimming pool shown on the website isn't anything like what there it's like: it's decrepit, possibly toxic, and usused by any customers we could see. Carpet was gross. Did not want to walk on it. Air conditioner was ineffective and leaked water, soaking the carpet (it squished when you walked near there). It was generally dirty. Facilities were extremely basic.
