At the desk, Dennis verified my information quickly and was quite friendly (I've been to enough hotels in NYC to recognize when I'm not a "room number" [based on the amount I have paid for a room] vs a "real person" [treated as if it didn't matter which room I paid for. I was an important person because I was staying there] In addition, the includes were way above average. Loved the room, the comfort and if you want to be treated like a person, not a number? all reviews » Stayed here for a couple of days before dropping my daughter to summer camp. The staff here are so welcoming and bend oer backwards to please. We were upgraded upon arrival. The rooms and bathrooms in this hotel are huge compared to most rooms in Manhattan and the decor is funky yet comfortable. The location is fabulous. 3 minutes to Grand Central Station and about 10 minutes to Macys. I love this hotel so much that I'm going back in 3 weeks to stay for a week!!!. Attentive staff, very clean. Recently remodeled, everything brand new. Breakfast included is a nice feature. Room quite spacious for Manhattan. This was an Anniversary weekend, staff had delicious chocolate covered strawberries in our room to wish us happy Anniversary. We would defintely return and will highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family. The location of this hotel is very good and the rooms are the biggest I have seen in a city like NYC. You wont get a bigger room for this price in Manhattan and I stayed in another Hotel on the same trip which was less than half of its size. Hotel staff is very good too and they offered us complimentary breaksfast which was very nice of them. The service was excellent from both reception - Shane and the young man who always held the door, sorted my luggage and arranged my car to the airport as well as the cleaning staff. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom supplies of a high standard. The air conditioning unit was excellent. Loved the decor, the location, the comfort, the spaciousness of the rooms especially for Manhattan and the staff. Shane and Nakaei were amazing and couldn't do enough to please. I even the loved the bathrooms that never steamed up - a first for me!. Way more than we expected. I couldn't believe the price we got for such an awesome location and quality. My Husband & I stayed at The Tuscany to celebrate my 50th Birthday! We had a wonderful stay! Everyone was so helpful and our room was spectacular! They sent up chocolate covered strawberries for my Birthday! We can not wait to return!!. I really Enjoyed the whole stay it was perfect the premises is beautiful and the service and the staff are great. No complaints. Nice big room king size bed no noise everything was very nice and neat very spacious and accommodating. In the middle of the strip a place that feels like home. Great gardens. Rooms huge and very clean. Stay on top floor to avoid noise from other levels. Close to everything. Lots of on site parking. Meals great and don't cost alot. We LOVED the room and the hotel! I have nothing negative to say. The coffee shop cum bar could be a little more spacious but I am not really complaining. Breakfast could be better. not applicable. We have no complaints!. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I couldn't stay another day. Room keys didn't work. Not a thing. They did a great job here. Nothing, absolute top, but I recommend to look for 'smart deals', as normally the room rates are considerably high. The bathroom door in our room was broken and had to be replaced. The housekeeping staff talked really loudly in the halls early in the morning. Our shower fixture broke away from the wall on our last day there and made it really difficult to take a shower. Nothing really. Windows need to be more sound proof. Mini frig was fully stocked so no room for guests to keep drinks & other food items. Coffee machine would be nice!. Some traffic noice, but nothing earplugs won't remedy. I liked everything in the hotel. Over priced, even though New York is terribly expensive. Needed more hooks for towels in bathroom and place for toiletries. Air conditioner a bit noisy. The decor whilst tried to focus on more modern style often seems impersonal. But not much to notice. There is an issue with the isolation of the rooms. It's not as worse as indicated in the other reviews. The gaps between the door and the doorframe are simply too big. A simple isolatuion rubber between the door and the doorframe can resolve this. Nothing!!. Head on shower leaked. The window insulation was not so good so the noise of the street can be heard clearly especially at the night time. Room doors were very loud with all the slamming and rattling from neighbors and housekeeping, so forget sleeping in past 8 am. The doors need some rubber seals. Elevator dinging was also a bit annoying. The climate control in the room was not great. it was either too hot or too cold. The room was not the room depicted in photo with the small dressing area, but it was fine nonetheless. I would stay again. Air conditioning operates well, but a little too loud. No coffee in the room and no coffee available before 7 AM. The parking.......it took us more than one hour to obtain our car on Sunday afternoon. Next time we will have to investigate other options for parking. at certain times, there were whiffs of bad smell from bathroom. also, we were on low floor, so more noise than we would have liked. Internet speed was very slow.
