  We stayed at the cottages, which are down the street from the actual hotel, but within walking distance. It was a wonderful week, beautiful grounds, extremely quiet. There are plenty of activities on the property to keep one occupied....great gym, beautiful pools, boating, shopping and restaurants. I actually appreciated the open atmosphere here - no hovering staff! Everything was easily accessible without requi - The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was good; included an assortment of breads, muffins, cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, a waffle machine to make your own waffles, and fresh fruit. Coffee, tea, and juices were included. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, but the hotel provides a shuttle service 10AM-12-2PM-4PM. Also close to the Mercato (restaurants and a movie theatre) and to 5th Ave.
