I had forgotten that our room had a full mini- kitchen (refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave) so that was a nice surprise when we walked in. The pool was heated and the hotel provided pool towels. Breakfast was very good and the sweet lady making the waffle was wonderful! Was worried about the street noise, but did not hear it at all and our room as only metres away. Friend forgot his reading glasses and the hotel called as soon as they were found.

Because we are in our 80's she was offering us a room on the first floor so we would not have to worry with elevators but we chose to be higher so we could use the balcony and watch the ocean.   I was excited about the reduced golf fees set up between the resort and thirty-two golf courses in the Myrtle Beach Strands. The rates were better than I could have received at the local Senior Center. As a single golfer, all I needed to do was go to the activities office, located on the second floor of the resort, and make my request for that day... what people say » and the time I wished to play. After spending one night listening to dogs barking and whining we requested to be moved to another room and a wonderful room was found for us on the 5th floor of another building. Every and anything you could possibly want to do is between five and fifteen minutes away. I don't think we burned more than half a tank of gas in the five days we stayed. Love that it is pet friendly & I dont have to pay extra $ for my pet to stay as compared to holiday inn, when I called them to inform that we have a poodle with us, they charge us 100$ for 3nights of stay for the pet (glad I cancelled it).... what people say » - Front desk staff was very friendly and always helpful.
