  This motel is very convenient to the freeway and the westside of Los Angeles. It is not real close to the beach communities, but easy to drive to them. Close to ucla and Downtown Culver City. The staff is friendly and the room we stayed in was newly refurbished. Very clean. We always stay here when we have to come to la for appointments. - Room was clean with a comfortable bed. There was a fridge but you have to remember to turn it on. The location and proximity to the fwy is great!! Close to Venice Beach, Santa Monica. We stayed because we were going to the Getty Museum and it was an easy drive from there. Found a great Wine Bar called Sara's 15 mins away that had great wines and food. Very generous pours.

  This place is fine really. Seemed newly refurbished and the staff were friendly. Really well located for downtown SM and the beach where most accommodation is very pricey. - second time staying here, great for a budget night or two. Just 10 minutes brisk walk from Main Street, Santa Monica.

  We stayed at this hotel in July 2013 for 4 nights. It was myself, hubby and our 13 year old daughter. We really enjoyed our stayed at this hotel. The location is great, you can walk along Hollywood Boulevard to the 'strip' and it was only 10min drive to Universal Studios which we visited during our stay. The room was very spacious, plenty of room for the 3 of us. It wa - I really enjoyed the time I had spent getting away with my husband. The front manager was very friendly and made us feel comfortable to be staying here.. I also LOVED the location of this hotel, there were so many fast food restaurants less than a mile away, banks, grocery stores, starbucks Yogurtland, and more!   There was ample parking space, the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and much better than most motels I've stayed in. The rooms were large and spacious, decent tv channels and bathroom size was good. There was a microwave, a fridge, ironing board, everything you needed. There is really almost nothing not to like - Decent breakfast selection (waffles!), room was clean and ok. WiFi worked fine, you can use multiple devices at the same time, though you have to login on a website each time you (re-)connect. There were both a fridge and a microwave in our room. Lots of parking space, relatively close to Venice beach.

The night shift/early morning concierge gave us a cup of coffee at 3am when we were checking out to go to the airport. He didnt havego to, ya know? Nice extra touch.   We stayed a total of 6 nights; Fri., Sat. Sun. Mon. Then came back later in the week and stayed Fri. Sat. The last "set" we stayed in a great suite and it was very nice with a great price. We wished that we could have had that suite all 6 nights! I visit the area a couple times a year as I grew up there...I know the area well and this hotel is well placed for my needs.

  We absolutely loved the Beverly Laurel. We flew in for the Grammy awardsand were so happy that we found a very reasonably priced room in anexcellent, excellent location. The staff (management, cleaning, etc.)were very kind and accommodating. Clean rooms with plenty of towels, amicrowave, and small fridge were among our rooms amenities.
