The room was impressive and stylish. The bed was so comfortable. Great value for the price. Staff was friendly. The night shift/early morning concierge gave us a cup of coffee at 3am when we were checking out to go to the airport. He didnt havego to, ya know? Nice extra touch. I will definitely stay here again. Great location; reasonable prices and they work hard at keeping the place up and in good shape. Pretty decent continental breakfast included (and a bit more--even a pancake maker!).
all reviews » Very clean hotel - I was able to walk to the places I needed to be. There are some fresh food / organic markets about 10 - 15 minutes walk - plus a lot of restaurants. Amazing location, right in the heart of West Los Angeles. Although we were at the front of the property facing Santa Monica Blvd, we didn't find it very noisy. Helpful and friendly staff. Confortable, clean and well decorated room. Good internet access. Good localization (some restaurants and a Seven Eleven nearby). I thought the room was clean, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. Breakfast was fine considering we had to eat and run. We stayed for one night at a 2 queen room. Room was large, bathroom rather small but clean. Parking was no problem when we arrived at 9 pm. Very well located, close to two shopping malls, some restaurants and a few supermarkets. The staff was helpful and friendly at all times. Hotel is clean. We had a room from the back and there wasn't any niose from the Santa Monica Boulevard. Staff was frendly. Little fridge, regular coffe maker, location, all I needed for short business trip! Relatively safe area , free parking !. Nicely renovated rooms and bathrooms. Clean and great location in West LA. The room was just right for one but the tiny bathroom would have made It a challenge if there were more people. Clean is a very important point to me. Late cancellation option Location. The daytime front desk guy (probably the owner) isn't overly friendly but the rest of the people working the desk at other hours are very cordial. My room was in the front and was noisy from the traffic. Not a problem if you are used to the noise. I could've requested another room but there was very little traffic by my room so I stayed there. By far the best value for the price. The halls are open and not secured - I felt safe enough though some may not. Also, no elevator if you have heavy suitcases. Great value... Lack of sufficient outlets in the room for the 4 of us. Lack of soap dish in the shower area. Doesn´t look as nice on the outside, but the rooms are very good. Room was small and parking was limited. Wifi was useless. Situated on an intersection with the busy Santa Monica Blvd., the morning traffic would at times be somewhat noisy. Breakfast area is very small. Hotel a bit far from centre, but ok if you have a car. Unless you get rooms at the back, the noise off Santa Monica can be pretty heavy. Its not too bad at night. But while the windows are double glazed, the door has a visible gap around it which lets in a lot of the noise. If seals can be updated, this would dramatically reduce noise. None the less, I'd stay there again. The outside of the hotel looks a bit sketchy. After 9am, the restaurant had already run out of certain items for breakfast like croissants. The breakfast place is a cold, as if you were having breakfast outside the Motel. Not enough parking space. Breakfast bar room a bit grim, but not too bad considering the over all price! Some fresh orange water would be nice, please :). Heater did not work. Although everything was very clean, I had to go ahead and ask them to change the bed sheets. One of the staff I called at nights ,every 3 nights, to get the internet username and password wasn't friendly. Outside looked pretty sketchy. The breakfast area was too small for the number of guests. Noisy, poor wifi, did not restock continentel breakfast and there was hardly anything to pick. Desk staff were not very friendly. Noise from nearby boulevard Outside room for breakfast, not heated in winter.
