Location was excellent. Airport Shuttle was a real plus. There are very fine restaurants all within walking distance such as PF Changs, Hofbrau Haus, Firefly Bistro and the Marakech. friendliness of staff. Location, price vs quality considering the promotion rates, rooms a bitoutdated, but comfortable, big enough for 4 people in a 2-quenn sizebeds, breakfeast buffet in the morning is great, and affordable whenused with promotion coupons given when registering as a player at yourarrival. Pool is not too big but great. Hotel not too big for the city.
all reviews » Terrible's is a great place - with a fantastic pool! Although off the "STRIP" it has great access and you always feel safe there. I recommend Terrible's to anyone going to Vegas!. I loved the free shuttle back to the airport. Also, staff let us check out later than 1100 due difficult night. Nice, quete place, convinient location. Terribles is a rather old-style casino hotel, but with its reasonnable size, its cool swimming pool hidden in the center of the buildings, and all the amenities on site, it represents an excellent alternative to the big "factories" with thousands of impersonnal rooms in Vegas. If you can negotiate the right price during week days or by staying several nights, it is da very good quality-price choic. The price was perfect for Vegas, the rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. The strip avenue is one mile.The room is good but the staff at the front desk is just so so. The staff was friendly and the food (and food prices were excellent).All promotion for player, so kids under 21 canot benefity from anythingis must pay for verything fuul price. My mom kept complaining about the toilet flushing constantly. Could hear other toilets/plumbing of hotel on regular basis. Wish they had shuttle to strip.Rooms on the back on the parking lot side are noisy (coaches parking there at night with the motor on), so ask for a room on the swimming pool side. Much better. Promotions, coupons, are valid only for adults/players (i.e. over 21) and that the kids will pay full rate for everything. Still a very good bargain for the place. A bit far from the strip to walk, but OK with a car or 5$ by taxi. The buffet food was overall good but ribs on Feb. 21,2009 were cold. Don't ask for coke they only have pepsi.Breakfast does not taste good!! The personnel also looked weird!. Even though we asked for a non-smoking room, smoke still got in (there was an ashtray right outside our door). The bed linen and towels all smelled of smoke. A suggestion would be to have a non-smoking section of the hotel were there is no smoking in any area ie. romms,halls etc. Also the pool was not very well advertised.
