  The staff asked my name when I got out of the taxi and then at every stage as I was passed between concierge to reception to bell hop I was greeted by name. I was traveling with my two grand daughters and the staff went out of their way to talk to the girls and genuinely show an interest in what they had been doing and had seen in Chicago. We arrived three hours before check in but they found a room for us right away. It's very close to public transit and Amtrack. The pool was small but our kids had a great time using it.   Staff is freindly and accurately listen your question and try to help you, even when you bad know English. Pizzeria is quite nice! Hotel's rooms are clean and have everything is needed (except refrigerator, but it's normally). And in general they are big and comfortable. And of course, location is very nice! CTA metro station is in several steps (... what people say » way to airport), bus to Navy Pier is quite near, Sears Tower is viewed from the window, and Museum Campus, Grand Park and Michigan avenue in 15 minute - The friendliness and courtesy of staff. And the parking! It was wonderfully priced to have the car so accessible for our meetings off site. I also must say that though modestly appointed, it was very clean and the linens were in excellent condition.

  Well kept. Atmosphere was swanky. Enjoyed the "wine hour". We're a little older than the young crowd that seemed to dominate the guest list which provided some interesting people/dog watching during the wine hour. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was snowing out and they let me borrow an umbrella for free.
