The hotel is still going through some renovations, but the room was excellent, comfy and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The location is only 1/2 a block from Powell and the cable car line. I would definately stay here again. - The proximity to shopping, restaurants, transportation and thefriendliness of the staff.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The usual large chains were booked so I stayed here by myself and was pleasantly surprised. This is a small boutique hotel, so if you need a cozy but clean place to stay in a great location, I would recommend this place. The staff was extremely helpful. They allowed to check-in early.
Googled if couldn't answer my questions right away and then gave the best suitable solutions.
The location is ideal. Easy to access from BART and close to everything. No armies of homeless people nearby.
The italian restaurant and daily complimentary glass of wine was made the whole impression much better.
WiFi is good.
