The hotel is still going through some renovations, but the room was excellent, comfy and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The location is only 1/2 a block from Powell and the cable car line. Googled if couldn't answer my questions right away and then gave the best suitable solutions.
The location is ideal. Easy to access from BART and close to everything. No armies of homeless people nearby.
The italian restaurant and daily complimentary glass of wine was made the whole impression much better.
