When we arrived, there weren't enough luggage carts so the staff actually helped out and cared ALL of our luggage to our room. Security- doors face inside to hallway that requires key card to enter. Staff was very friendly. Wonderful parking right under building- $10/ day- unlimited access. Rivercenter mall... The hotel was just perfect. The prices for this hotel were shocking to me, I figured the pictures looked nice on the website but was sure it woul... what people say » d be that way when we got there.... and when we did arrive ... it was even better... I loved that the hotel is affordable to stay ay..and It is one of - The young man at the front desk was wonderful, I believe his name tag said Eric Rodriguez. We had many questions about San Antonio and wanted to make sure we went to children friendly places. He was a wonderful help, and very, very polite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Having the microwave and refrigerator in the room worked out wonderfully for the little ones. We were there for two days, it was wonderful. I will definitely stay again when I return to San Antonio!

  Nice historic hotel with a great location, next to imax, around the corner from the Alamo and 1-2 block walk to the lively area on the Riverwalk. Great base for walking to most downtown spots. Quick trolley ride to the Market Square. Clean and simple rooms were just what we needed. Staff were - The location is the key factor, actually next door to the Alamo and very close to the Riverwalk area and the Mall. Felt safe to walk in these areas even late at night. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a standard room in an old historic hotel, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast that was included was good. The city bus from the airport stops just four blocks from the Crockett, an easy walk passing over the Riverwalk,
