  What we liked the best was our balcony with the breathtaking view of the ocean and beach; being able to sit out there enjoying the beauty and fresh air, drinking coffee/wine and relaxing; being so close to the water and hearing the waves all day/night; the size of the room was larger than most hotel rooms and recently beautifully remodeled; loved ... what people say » the high quality bed/bedding; huge shower w/ great showerhead & fan in bathroom; great coffee in the room (Keurig) we've never experienced that be - We loved that they gave us a free upgrade! We had plenty of room with two adjoining rooms. The view from our balcony was breathtaking! We used the gym down the street which was very good. Everything was close. If anything was wrong it was looked at promptly. The boys looking after beach chairs even reserved 4 loungers and umbrellas for us so we didn't have to worry about that either!

  great swimming pool and jacuzzi full kitchen plenty of space (large suites) private patios pet friendly nicely kept grounds - Very quaint. Staff was super friendly. Quiet spot in a canyon.

  Very nice bar and restaurant with in an up to date boutique style, which contrasted well with the accommodation which had a more cosy traditional feel to it. The food, courtesy of head chef Alessandro was great, lots of locals were dining which is always a good sign. Nice touches, with free water and coffee etc available in the lobby and also free... what people say » Wi-Fi in all areas. The staff were without exception friendly, welcoming and helpful. A little gem of a Holiday Inn close to the centre of Laguna Bea - Location was good and not to far to main area of Laguna Beach. Cross the road there are stairs to the beach and great views. We where offered an upgrade on arrival without requesting it. The room was huge and comfortable. Pool was clean and warm. Great place for a couple that love the beach.
