  do get one of the rooms in the #32..36 range, they have harbor view and a rear porch and are very roomy. Very friendly staff, helpful and sympathetic. Location 5 mins from Main St, just right to get hungry and settle yourself a bit on the way home. - Nice view of harbor, convenient to boats, clam shacks.

  Raj and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful - many things to do and places to eat within walking distance or short ride. Was really surprised by the kitchenette (frig, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, sink): it was fully stocked with all the basic utensils and dishes you might need. We had tea and snacks in room ... what people say » but it would be great for breakfasts, making lunches for out on the beach etc. Everything super clean and ready to use. Would make it easy to plan on - We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, Harbor view, walking distance to the ferries, many fine restaurants, Main Street and the travel center. we didn't have a car and didn't need one. Ray and Nina are the most gracious hosts. They were so warm and welcoming that we felt like family. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We all agreed that we would return here and recommend this most hospitable Inn.

  Went wrong time of year for the price. (Thought was a little high for value received) The rooms were dated but clean. The staff was excellent. Would stay again - but in off season. - Very nice area. Many things to do that are not too far of a drive.

  Actually, after all the "negatives" I had seen and read about "American Host Motel" (after I booked it), I was very pleased with everything about it. Yes - the hot tub wasn't working... Because they were in the process or replacing it with a new one.   Right as soon as I checked in the woman at the desk was so friendly and welcoming. The entire motel is very nicely landscaped, that may not matter to most people but it shows they care about their outside appearance. The room was extremely clean. We stayed for 3 nights mid week in july and you honestly cannot beat that price. Also, the pool was spotless very - I don't look for five star resorts because I don't intend on sitting in a hotel, I want to see everything around. The Windrift was very Cape Coddy and beachy. The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooms were very clean. It is very centrally located to anything on the Cape. I will definitely stay there again.
